The Doctoral Program of Agricultural Sciences of Graduate Program at Udayana University was opened in 2008 by the virtue of the license from Director General for Higher Education No. 3538/ D/ T2007, dated November 5, 2007, with the objective of yielding scientists having the capabilities of: Developing new concepts in the field of agricultural science and technology through independent research. Organizing, conducting and leading research and development of agricultural science and technology in order to manage the resources of biodiversity and water resources as well as agricultural land optimally. Conducting an interdisciplinary approach in the application of agricultural science and technology which has been produced. The potential of Indonesia as one of the countries in the world is the abundant natural resources, both in quantity and diversity. In terms of biodiversity, Indonesia is well known as one of the two countries dubbed "Megadiversity". However, this natural wealth has not fully managed optimally, due to the limited human resources capable of mastering and developing agricultural science and technology corresponding to that potential. The Doctoral Program of Agricultural Sciences of Graduate Program at Udayana University is operated to address the issues above and it is expected to yield academic staffs capable of mastering and developing science and technology through research activities which are systematic, programmatic as well as capable of applying science and technology for the welfare of the community and the nation. The process of lecture, practicum and research is directed to prepare the graduates of the Doctoral Program of Agricultural Sciences to be always ready to evolve, capable of adapting themselves to the development of community, and are always up to date with progress of science and technology. The Accreditation of the Study Program The Doctoral Studies Program of Agricultural Sciences was first obtained the Accreditation Grade B, with a score of 345 on May 16, 2012, with the Decree No. 002/ BAN-PT / Ak-XI/ S3/ V/ 2012, which remains valid for five years, i.e. until May 16, 2017. The Doctoral Program of Tourism at Udayana University was incorporated in August 16, 2010 by the Decree of Minister of National Education Number: 126/ D/ O/ 2010. The program was designed to yield qualified graduates in the field of tourism. The program was developed within the long term, thus it would form the main stream or doctrine of tourism science, as a science mono-disciplinary. The program is the only tourism study program in Indonesia, having parallel study programs, i.e. from undergraduate, graduate to doctoral degrees. Currently, the tourism science is still a multidisciplinary in nature, based on other relevant sciences, such as Social Science, Cultural Science, Economics Science, Environmental Science, Psychology, Planning Technique. In the next ten years, in the framework of tourism as science mono-disciplinary, cultural tourism will be developed by upholding the color and the excellence of local culture; a culture-based tourism development. This approach is expected to be able to address issues of tourism development nowadays that may seem less in favor of the local communities who have cultural uniqueness. The establishment of Doctoral Program of Tourism is based on the development tourism science at Udayana University that has never receded. In which in 2001, Udayana University opened Master Program of Tourism Studies by the virtue of Decree of Director General of Higher Education No. 1917/ D/ T/ 2001, dated June 7, 2001. The incorporation of Master's program of Tourism Studies is aimed to yield human resources, having academic abilities and are able to develop tourism science, in accordance with the needs of the community and the development of science, technology and the arts. It also serves as a continuation of graduate Program of Tourism that has been initiated far beforehand. The realization of Tourism Doctoral Program is inseparable from the long journey since the incorporation of Tourism Study Program in 1985 at Udayana University. The Tourism Studies Program eventually turned into a study program of graduate program, by the virtue of Decree of Directorate General of Higher Education No. 2425/ D/ T/ 2008, dated July 29, 2008 and Rector’s Decree of Udayana University, No. 347A/ H14/ HK/ 2008, dated September 27, 2008, on the incorporation of the Faculty of Tourism, Udayana University. Decree of Study Program The Operating License for Tourism Study Program (Doctoral Degree) at Udayana University in Denpasar, by the virtue of the Ministry of National Education No. 126/ D/ O/ 2010, dated August 16, 2010. The Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education No. 464/ BAN-PT/ Akred/ D/ XII/ 2014 on the value and Accreditation Rating for Doctoral Program, dated December 8, 2014, decided that Tourism Doctoral Program earned Grade A. It remains valid until December 7, 2019. The Program’s Major Concentrations It has two major concentrations, namely: Tourism Planning Management of Tourism Destinations. Doctoral Program of Linguistics is one of the highest levels of academic education institutions (Doctoral Degree) under the umbrella of the Graduate Program of Udayana University. Its existence and nascence are inseparable from the presence of the Master’s Program of Linguistics as its basis presence. Officially, Doctoral Program of Linguistics, which is also the eldest or first doctoral program at Udayana University, is present on the basis of Higher Education Decree No. DIKTI / 300/1998, at the same time with the eight year anniversary of its hosting institution, i..e. Faculty of Literature, Udayana University. The eight year anniversary in Faculty of Literature, Udayana University, which was still named Faculty of Literature Udayana, Airlangga University in the period 1958-1962, is the cornerstone of basic existence of Doctoral Program in Linguistics, particularly within the framework of sciences literature development, especially in linguistics science, Udayana University. Besides educating candidates of doctors, professors, and doctor-qualified researchers, the presence of the Doctoral Program in Linguistics also has missions for the development of linguistics in Indonesia. The diversity of languages in Indonesia becomes an advanced source of inspiration and aspiration of academic development. It is also associated with Po; a, the Core Scientific Culture which is the choice of Udayana University. The presence of Doctoral Program of Linguistics is the answer to such highest level of educational institution. 1. Resources of Management and Teaching Staffs Since its establishment, 1999-2003, the Doctoral Program of Linguistics has been managed by the Chairman: Prof. Dr. I Wayan Bawa; and Secretary: Prof. Dr. Aron Meko Mbete. A number of lecturers supporting the program are: As shown in the list of teaching staffs above, a number of lecturers with doctoral degree in linguistics have various specializations. Most lecturers have also positioned as academic professors. Furthermore, starting from the passing of Prof. Dr. I Wayan Bawa in May 2003, the Doctoral Program has been chaired by Prof. Dr. Aron Meko Mbete, and the Secretary is commissioned by Prof. Dr. I Gusti Made Sutjaja, M.A. In the period of 2008-2012, Prof. Drs. Ketut Artawa, M.A., Ph.D. and Secretary, Prof. Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putra Yadnya, M.A, were elected. In the period 2013-2016, the chairman position is held by Prof. Dr. Aron Meko Mbete, and the secretary is Dr. A A. Putu Putra, M. Hum (The Alumni of Doctoral Program of Linguistics). 2. Alumni Until April 2015, the PPS Linguistics Doctoral Program, Udayana University has graduated 97 doctors of linguistics. In line with the evenly distribution, the doctors and doctoral candidates attending linguistics doctoral program are originating from various regions of Indonesia, namely: North Sumatra, West Sumatra, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Kalimantan, and Papua. The Doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies was established in 2001, by the virtue of Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of Republic of Indonesia, Number 2366/ D/ T/ 2001, dated July 11, 2001. And the official made the decision is the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education of Republic of Indonesia. The implementation is by the virtue of Statement of Udayana University Rector, No. 2444/ J.14/ HK.01.01/ 2001, dated July 11, 2001. The study program is incorporated in the Graduate Program at Udayana University, Denpasar. The doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies brings a new atmosphere in the world of doctoral education at Udayana University. This study program is the development of the Master Program of Cultural Studies, Graduate Program at Udayana University which was incorporated in 1995. Although it was a simple initial existence, at the same time it was carrying noble mission in the education world. The Doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies was at first accredited as C. And once various progresses has been done by this study program, in 2009, the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia based on Decree of 013 BAN-PT/Ak-VII/S3/I/2009, dated January 23, 2009 states that the Doctoral Study Program (S3) of Cultural Studies, Udayana University, Denpasar is accredited with Grade B. In 2014, the Doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies was reaccredited by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, by means of the Decree No. BAN-PT No. 365/SK/BAN PT/Akred/D/IX/2014, dated September 11, 2014 with a value of 309, which is Grade B. Hence, such condition should be improved by the managers and lecturers to promote Doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies. It is evidenced by the increasing public interest to enroll as students in Doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies. It is inseparable from the study program management which has always based on the vision, missions, objectives, and strategies for achieving Doctoral Study Program of Cultural Studies.

Despite the fact that natural resources found in Indonesia are highly rich with a variety of commodities, such as Balinese Cattle, the handling of them has not done optimally. If not managed properly and wisely, besides taking note the sustainability aspect, such diverse natural resources will be meaningless. Similarly, natural resources found in Eastern Indonesia have the potential to be utilized for the welfare of society. Human resources (HR) capable of developing knowledge and technology (science and technology) in harmony and sustainably are required in order to manage such abundant natural resources, by means of conducting research/ studies based on local resources. The opening of the Doctoral Program of Animal Husbandry Science will be able to yield superior human resources with focus on studies of the HR in Eastern Indonesia. The results will be useful for the continuation of national development in general, and the development in Eastern Indonesia in particular, those which has not received optimal attention from the Central Government to date. Hence, with the issuance of the Incorporation license of Doctoral Program of Animal Husbandry Science at Udayana University (Decree of Education Minister No. 86/D/O/ 2010) assesses the potential of existing farms, particularly in Eastern Indonesia from various aspects in relation to local culture. Based on a suggestion to Doctoral Program in Management Sciences (PSDIM) of Udayana University, Faculty of Economy of Unud since 2012/2013 academic year is permitted to operate PSDIM based on the Decree of Minister of Education and Culture Number 27/E/O/2012 dated 24 January 2012. In 2012/2013 academic year, PSDIM held first class student selection for the first time. There are 4 (four) scientific concentration in PSDIM, which are Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resources (SDM) Management, and Tourism Business Management. However, in this first class, no student selected Tourism Business Management so only 3 (three) concentrations were in operation. 27 people registered as potential students of class 2012/2013 and after stages of selection which consist of Basic Competence Test, Academic Potential Test, TOEFL, and Interview, 7 (seven) people didn’t pass and the remaining 20 passed. However, after one meeting in the first semester, a student, named Tommy Hendro Trisdiarto, NIM 1290871019, resigned due to being assigned to Jakarta. Therefore, active registered students for the first class were 19 people. Then, the number of people who registered for class 2013/2014 was 25 people and after stages of selection which consist of Basic Competence Test, Academic Potential Test, TOEFL, and Interview, 3 (three) people didn’t pass and the remaining 22 (twenty two) people passed. After that, the number of people who registered for class 2014/2015 was 25 and after stages of selection which consist of Basic Competence Test, Academic Potential Test, TOEFL, and Interview, 3 (three) of them didn’t pass and the remaining 22 (twenty two) people passed. Therefore total students from those three classes were 63 people. Performance accomplishment particularly for the first class is among 19 active students, 17 students have passed qualification examination, 10 students passed Dissertation Supporting Course (MKPD), 8 students passed Proposal Examination, and one student passed Research Result examination. Performance accomplishment of the second class is among 22 active students, 5 students have passed qualification examination and 1 student passed Dissertation Supporting Course (MKPD). Performance accomplishment of the third class is all 22 active students are finishing the second semester of their courses. Since PSDIM was opened, all activities were coordinated by a Task Executor Chairman of Study Program (KPS), Prof. Dr. I Ketut Rahyuda, SE, MSIE with the assistance of Task Executor Secretary of Study Program (Sekprodi), Dr. I Putu Gde Sukaatmadja, SE, MP, based on the Decree of Rector No. 43/UN14/KP/2012 dated 23 February 2012 regarding the Assignment of Task Executor (PLT) Chairman and Secretary of Doctoral Program of Management Sciences of Postgraduate (S3) Level Program of Udayana University. Based on the Decree of Rector No. 80/UN14/KP/2013 dated 19 March 2013 regarding the Discharge and Assignment of Head of Doctoral (S3) Program in Management Sciences in Postgraduate Program of Udayana University, all activities are coordinated by a definitive Chairman of Study Program (KPS), Prof. Dr. I Ketut Rahyuda, SE, MSIE and a definitive Secretary of Study Program (Sekprodi), Dr. I Putu Gde Sukaatmadja, SE, MP. They’re supported by two staffs, which are Luh Elly Kartini who handles Academic and Student Affairs and Ni Putu Sri Suarningsih, SE who handles General Administration and Financial Affairs. Since the establishment of Doctoral Program of Management Sciences, based on the Letter of Director General of Higher Education of Ministry of Education and Culture Number: 160/E/AK/2013 regarding Operational Permit and Accreditation of Study Program dated 1 March 2013 in Article 33 clause (3) and clause (5) of Law No. 12 Year 2012, universities/organizing bodies which have received study program operational permits before 10 August 2012 and the study programs haven’t been accredited, they receive “C” for 6 (six) months starting from 1 March 2013. Thus, Accreditation Forms were immediately submitted to BAN PT in Jakarta on 31 August 2013 in accordance with the provisions and laws in effect, and based on the Accreditation Result of BAN PT Number 291/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/DVIII/2014, dated 23 August 2014, it passes accreditation with “B” rank which is in effect for the next 5 (five) years. Since the opening of PSDIM of Udayana Unviersity, there have been many improvements of quality of education. In 2012, PSDIM has Faculty Quality Control Unit (UPMF) in Faculty of Economy and Business of Udayana University which handles quality control starting from S0 level (Diploma), S1 (Undergraduate), S2 (Graduate), to S3 level (Postgraduate), including the PSDIM of Faculty of Economy and Business of Udayana University, headed by Prof. Dr. Ketut Sudibia, SE, SU. To improve the quality of education of PSDIM of Unud, the institution continues to plan cooperation. Cooperation which has been performed by PSDIM is cooperation between PSDIM of Unud and Gajahmana University and PT Toyota Astra Motor Indonesia, particularly in holding a seminar on “Empowering Community Economy toward Independent and Developed Village Communities”. To have effective academic quality control, per 17 July 2013, Doctoral Program in Management Sciences of Udayana University received international recognition in the form of Certificate of Registration ISO 90001:2008 on Quality Management System Standard. The certificate was given ceremonially on 30 July 2013 which was attended by top officials of Unud Rectorate and Postgraduate Program of Udayana University.

Progran Doktor Ilmu Lingkungan mulai dibuka tahun 2016 berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Riset Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi RI Nomor 90/KPT/I/2016 tanggal 9 Februari 2016 tentang Pembukaan Program Studi Pada Universitas Udayana di Denpasar. Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Lingkungan juga telah terakreditasi sesuai dengan Keputusan Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi Nomor: 4408/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/D/VIII/2020 tentang Peringkat Akreditasi Program Studi Ilmu Lingkungan pada Program Doktor Universitas Udayana, Kabupaten Badung, tanggal 4 Agustus 2020 dengan Peringkat B. Ilmu lingkungan adalah bidang ilmu yang multi desipliner, artinya untuk mengkaji permsalahan lingkungan perlu keterlibatan berbagai aspek atau bidang ilmu lainnya. Dalam penyelesaian permasalahan lingkungan perlu integrasi bidang lain. Indonesia adalah negara berkembang, Program Doktor Ilmu Lingkungan, PPs, Universitas Udayana 4 pembangunan menjadi jawaban atas pertumbuhan penduduk, disisi lain lingkungan alam akan menjadi target pengelolaan. Seperti diketahui pembangunan memiliki tiga pilar utama yaitu sosial, ekonomi dan lingkungan. Keseimbangan ketiga pilar tersebut harus dijaga agar terjadi pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Berbagai konflik akan terjadi jika terjadi ketimpangan. Inilah yang menjadi tantangan kedepan bagaimana implementasi ilmu dan teknologi bidang lingkungan. Landasan tersebut yang dipadukan dengan analisis internal dan eksternal dengan data dan informasi dari komponen terkait termasuk hasil tracer studi, kenudian disusun profil lulusan Program Studi Doktor Ilmu Lingkungan Program Pascasarjana Universitas Udayana adalah sebagai Akademisi, Peneliti dan praktisi profesional bidang pengelolaan lingkungan. This Study Program is a part of Graduate Program of Udayana University, Denpasar. As a part of Udayana University educational institution, Doctoral (S3) Program in Medical Sciences has made reformations in many components over the years. The Study Program upholds academic honesty and openness to the students and the society. The manifestations of honesty and openness to the society can be seen in the study program socializations which are held routinely.
