Udayana University Holds Focus Group Discussion Draft Strategic Plan for 2025-2029
Denpasar - Located in the Hall of the Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of the Draft Strategic Plan (Renstra) of Udayana University (Unud) for 2025 - 2029 was held, Tuesday (21/1/2025). This FGD was attended by leaders in the Unud, Faculty and Postgraduate environment, the PTNBH Team and the Drafting Team which began with an introduction by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information followed by directions from the Rector of Unud as well as a presentation by the Head of the Drafting and Discussion Team.
Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika said that the Strategic Plan Drafting Team consisted of representatives from each faculty and postgraduate and had been working for about two months, where the previous Unud Strategic Plan had ended in 2024 so a Strategic Plan for 2025 - 2029 was prepared. This Strategic Plan will also be adjusted to the Ministry's Strategic Plan which until now does not exist.
Several things that are important to note in this Strategic Plan are the President's direction, namely Asta Cita, preparing space for the Ministry's Strategic Plan, as well as the transformation of PTNBH Unud according to the direction of Dewas BLU Unud. Through this FGD, it is hoped that leaders can pay close attention to the Strategic Plan so that improvements can be made immediately and receive input regarding achievement targets if anything needs to be adjusted before this Strategic Plan is established.
Rector of Unud Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana in his direction said that this Strategic Plan must think about how Unud will be transformed in the next five years, where it has prepared a transformation to PTNBH which of course already has documents prepared by the PTNBH Team. Therefore, this activity also invites the PTNBH Team to take part in looking at the targets in the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan. It is hoped that in the Strategic Plan created there will be a breakthrough and innovation that accelerates the transformation process of Unud according to what we hope to become a research-based university that needs to be looked at together.
From the long-term academic development plan, the milestones can be seen there. Where, if you look at it at a glance, the points refer to the KPI. The Rector hopes that the input from this FGD will pay attention to where Udayana University's leverage is. Of course, it must be prepared properly and the participants who attend certainly have thoughts that will take Unud forward in the next five years.
"Through this FGD we will discuss the contents of this Strategic Plan in more detail," said the Rector.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Drafting Team, Prof. I Ketut Satriawan in his presentation conveyed the contents of the draft Strategic Plan that had been prepared which was then followed by a discussion to obtain input.
