Criminal Law Clinic Students of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University Organized a Street Law Clinic at SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Wednesday (06/12/2023) at SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar, students from the Criminal Law Clinic course at the Faculty of Law, Udayana University held a Street Law Clinic for high school students. This Street Law Clinic is in the form of legal counseling with the theme of Criminal Law related to crucial topics that are currently rife.

This legal counseling is the implementation of student assignments in taking criminal law clinic courses. Legal counseling was conducted by 5 (five) groups that raised different topics, including: Cyber Crime, Domestic Violence, Violence against Children, Sexual Violence, and Revenge Porn. These five topics are urgent to be educated in order to increase the literacy and knowledge of the younger generation.

Legal counseling activities are carried out by entering the classes of high school students who are carrying out the end of semester break. Then, students delivered the material presented followed by a discussion session. This activity was welcomed enthusiastically by SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar students who were very interactive in asking questions and also answering the questions given.

In addition, the Criminal Law Clinic lecturer team, namely: Dr. Ida Bagus Surya Dharma Jaya, S.H., M.H., Dr. Diah Ratna Sari Hariyanto, S.H., M.H., and A.A. Ngurah Oka Yudistira Darmadi, S.H., M.H. also assisted as mentors both in the process of preparing materials, simulating legal counseling, and implementing legal counseling. The activity was closed by handing over a plaque as a form of gratitude and a memento for SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar.
