To Increase Patents and Intellectual Property Rights, FTP Unud Holds Training in Collaboration with Resource Persons from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and IPB University

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University held a Training on Compiling Patents and Intellectual Property Rights as Research Outcomes on 29th  – 30th  October 2022 at Wyndham Tamansari Jivva Resort, Klungkung-Bali. This activity was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., and attended by 1st Deputy Dean and 2nd Deputy Dean of  FTP Unud, All Study Program coordinators in FTP Unud, and also attended by lecturer representatives from each program Studies at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology along with representatives from several other universities in Bali, namely Dhyana Pura University, Warmadewa University, Dwijendra University, College of Communication Studies and the Bali Institute of Technology and Health.

 

There are 2 resource persons in this activity, namely Dra. Sri Sulistiyani, M.Si from the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, who provided material related to Patent Specifications (One of the Research Outcomes Intellectual Property) and Mr. Dr. Drh. I Ketut Mudite Adnyane, M.Si, PAVet who is Assistant for Management and Protection of IP, IPB University who provides material related to the Value and Implementation of IP in Higher Education Experiences of Patent Searching and Drafting of Patent Descriptions. In addition, this activity also carried out direct training on the IPR registration program and training on Drafting Patents and IPRs.

 

Chairperson of Committee I, Desak Putu Kartika Pratiwi, S.TP., M.P. reported that this activity is expected to produce 3 patent drafts which will be registered at the DJKI, in addition the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., also added that it is hoped that in the future research outputs in the form of the preparation of Patents and Intellectual Property Rights from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University in particular, can increase every year so can contribute and increase score for the future accreditation of each study program.
