The Institutional Directorate Team Visits FKH Unud in the Context of Proposing the Implementation of the Veterinary Science Study Program Doctoral Program

The team from the Institutional Directorate of the Directorate General of Higher Education and Technology visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (FKH Unud) to carry out a field evaluation in the framework of the proposal for the implementation of the Veterinary Science Study Program for the Doctoral Program. The Institutional Directorate Team together with three resource persons for each criteria (Curriculum, Lecturers and Study Program Management Unit) as well as LLDikti Region VIII were received by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information representing the Rector of Udayana University and the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and staff in the Meeting Room of the Building Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Sudirman Denpasar Campus, Thursday (31/8/2023).

Vice Rector Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika on this occasion said that this was a field assessment activity for a proposal to organize a Veterinary Science Doctoral Study Program at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The Institutional Directorate team together with three assessors visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The Vice Rector further said that in principle, according to the direction of the university leadership, they are very supportive of the implementation and readiness to support the development of the Veterinary Science Doctoral Study Program because they see that the resources at FKH are sufficient, and the infrastructure is also there. The university leadership gave a challenge on how this doctoral program could become a bridge towards developing infrastructure at FKH, one of which is the Animal Hospital.

Through this opportunity, the Vice Rector also asked assessors to provide direction in efforts to support or support the development of this doctoral degree through this visitation activity so as to provide constructive input for the implementation of this study program. He hopes that this study program can be realized soon.

The Institutional Directorate Team on this occasion said that this process is one of the processes for implementing study programs, where this process shows that administrative documents have met the requirements and is followed up through visitations to carry out verification and clarification of evidence in the field. After that, if it is appropriate, it will be proposed to the Accreditation Body to obtain minimum accreditation before the implementation permit is issued.
