Udayana University Holds Preparation of Static Archive Acquisition Guidelines

Udayana University held a Static Archives Acquisition Guidelines Preparation event at the Bangsa Room, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This activity was opened by the Head of the General Bureau, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati SE., MM. accompanied by the Coordinator of TU, ​​RT and HTL I Wayan Gayun Widharma, SE., M.Si and Sub Coordinator of the Archives Unit Putu Rosa Martika, S.Sos. Thursday (31/3/2022).

Static archives are archives produced by archive creators because they have historical value and are included in the permanent category in the archive retention schedule that has been verified directly or indirectly by the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia or archival institutions.

Head of the General Bureau, Ni Made Pertami Susilawati SE., MM. in his direction conveyed, previously carried out the Work Performance Assessment of the Functional Position of the Archives, and on this occasion the Preparation of Guidelines for the Acquisition of Static Archives was carried out. Acquisition of Static Archives is a very important thing where archives carried out by archive creators will later be acquired and brought to archival institutions. Udayana University currently has an archive unit under its Sub-Coordinator Putu Rosa Martika. Through the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that archivists will gain the same understanding, so that they can manage static archives in each work unit.

Meanwhile, the Coordinator of TU, ​​RT and HTL I Wayan Gayun Widharma conveyed that this activity was a Static Archive Acquisition guideline activity which would later take the form of a Rector's Regulation. It is planned that this year's target will be completed as many as two Rector's Regulations to complement the various Rector's Regulations that are already owned related to archives. In the implementation of this activity, participants are divided into 5 groups, each group will conduct discussions and provide input in the management of static archives.
