Creative, Master of Food Technology, FTP Unud Student Teaches KWT Br. Samu Mekar Bhuana Turns Local Food into Healthy Cookies
Students of the Master of
Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana
University (FTP Unud), namely Putu Ayu Gaudiya Waisnawi and I Gusti Ayu Krisma
Widya Saraswati provide training and teach KWT. Banjar Samu Mekar Bhuana,
Abiansemal District, Badung, processes local food ingredients, namely Purple
Sweet Potatoes, Moringa and Ginger as additional ingredients in the process of
making cookies. This training was held on Wednesday, August 31st ,
2022.
KWT. Banjar Samu Mekar
Bhuana Abiansemal Badung is one of the KWT assisted by PT. Tirta Investama
(AQUA mambal) and the activities carried out are the realization of CSR from
PT. Tirta Investama (Aqua Mambal). This activity was also accompanied by an FTP
Unud Lecturer, Dr. Ir. Luh Putu Wrasiati, M.P., Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini,
S.TP., M.Agb and I Gede Arie Mahendra Putra, S.TP., M.TP.
Participants who are members
of the KWT. Banjar Samu Mekar Bhuana gave a positive response to the activities
carried out. One of the representatives of the Unud FTP Lecturer is Dr. Ir. Luh
Putu Wrasiati, M.P. hopes that through this activity it is hoped that it can
increase the creativity of the local KWT, besides that it is also hoped that
through this KWT training. Banjar Samu Mekar Bhuana is more productive and has
products that can be used as superior products to sell in order to increase
income from local KWT. She also informed that the use of Moringa, Purple Sweet
Potato and Ginger is one of the food diversification to make healthy processed
food because these three ingredients contain bioactive components that can
function as antioxidants that are good for health.
