IMISSU 'United in Developing UNUD'

As an implementation of the seriousness and commitment in establishing an integrated system in order to strengthen the field of information and technology, then, UNUD establishes Information Resources Unit (USDI). In 2015, UNUD began to conduct a great breakthrough in the field of information system by establishing a system named IMISSU (Integrated Management Information System the Strategic of Udayana), that is, the development, regulation, and integration of information system into a service named SSO (Single Sign On). Because of this system, all existing information systems have been integrated, whether it is in the context of user management, integration of information system and data at the database level and integration of business process. At this time, the community of UNUD has used more than 30 integrated systems in running the campus management.

As a user of IMISSU, one of the lecturers of Informatics Engineering, FMIPA UNUD, I Putu Gede Hendra Suputra, S.Kom., M.Kom. gave his opinion. “As a lecturer, I really appreciate the hard work of USDI in realizing the integrated systems in order to realize the systematic and transparent university management”. “I am greatly helped by the existence of these systems, especially SIMDOS (Lecturer Management Information System). It is not only as a media to enter and print BKD, through this system, we also have documented clearly about our activities and we can see our performance in a certain time period”. “I hope that those systems will continue to develop along with the needs and technology advances”, I Putu Gede Hendra Suputra, S.Kom., M.Kom. said.

In the effort to realize the system, there is the programmer role in it, Adi Juliawan, S.Kom, one of the programmers in USDI said “It takes hard work and support to realize IMISSU”. “Hopefully, the system that we developed is easy to use by the community of UNUD. The participation of users is really needed in a system development. If only the system developed by USDI is a highway, then, to cover the holes and damages of the road, the road users should tell where the location of the holes. So, we can provide better performance.
