There are Adjustments, Udayana University Holds SNPMB 2025 Socialization with Speaker from the SNPMB Central Team

Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) held the 2025 National Socialization for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) which took place in a hybrid combination of offline from the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus and online via the Zoom Meeting application, Thursday (23/1/2025). This socialization invited unit leaders within Unud internally and School Principals along with SMA/SMK/MA Teachers and Students throughout Bali by presenting resource persons from the 2025 SNPMB Central Team, namely Badrus Zaman, S.Kom., M.Cs. with technical explanation material for SNPMB 2025.

Apart from that, there were also internal speakers from Unud who provided explanations related to the technical aspects of New Student Admission Pathways at Unud by the Academic and Statistics Coordinator Agoes Hadi Birawan, SE., MM as well as Information on KIP for College and Scholarships at Unud by the Head of the Unud Scholarship Management Unit Dewa Gede Pradnya Yustiawan , SH., MH.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP., IPU representing the Rector of Unud in his speech said that this activity was carried out in connection with the start of the 2025 National Selection for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) stage, where currently the school is in the PDSS filling stage. For this reason, it is necessary to understand the process of filling in data and determining eligible students in the PDSS system to minimize problems that will harm many parties, including schools, students and universities of interest.

Udayana University as one of the State Universities in Bali held the 2025 SNPMB Socialization by presenting the Central SNPMB committee which took place in a Hybrid (Combination of Offline and Online via Zoom Meeting Link). In this activity, study programs and entry routes for new student admissions at Udayana University were also socialized.

"We hope that socialization participants can take advantage of this opportunity to ask questions and discuss with the resource persons to gain clarity regarding matters regarding new student admissions, both the SNBP, SNBT and Independent pathways held by Udayana University," said the Vice Rector.

On this occasion, the Vice Rector also explained briefly about Udayana University including the entry routes, capacity and strictness as well as the favorite study programs for each admission route. The total capacity of Udayana University for 2025 is 7,602 new students.

Meanwhile, the speaker for the 2025 SNPMB Central Team, Badrus Zaman, S.Kom., M.Cs, in his material said that at the 2025 National Selection for New Student Admissions, especially for SNBP and SNBT, there were indeed slight adjustments which of course were related to the evaluation results in 2024, and currently 2025 will be perfected for the common good. As in 2024, selection for new student admissions applies to Bachelor's, Applied Bachelor's programs including Diploma Three. SNBP is National Selection Based on Achievement, while SNBT is National Selection Based on Tests which is preceded by a computer-based written exam. To take part in SNBP or SNBT, the main requirement is to have an account.

Schools that use e-reports to fill in PDSS will receive an additional 5 percent eligible student quota. Considering that in the future it will be fully integrated with e-reports, so schools no longer need to bother filling in PDSS because the data will be taken from all e-reports. The new thing in the PDSS filling stage is that it is declared complete if the school successfully downloads proof of finalization of PDSS filling. Then what is new is that there are two methods for filling in PDSS, namely manually or synchronizing e-reports.

Currently, there are still many schools that have not finalized it even though the remaining time is only 2 weeks. The public or students can check the school's stage position via the SNPMB website. Then for SNBT the difference from last year is in the implementation of UTBK and the choice of study program. For this year's UTBK there is only one wave and SNBT participants are only allowed to take part in the 2025 UTBK once and the time has been shortened to 10 days. For study program choices, each participant is allowed to choose a maximum of 4 study programs with a mechanism according to the provisions.
