Rector of Udayana University Releases Students, DPL and Korkab KKN PPM Period XXVI
Departure and Deployment of Students, DPL and Korkab KKN PPM Period XXVI Udayana University (Unud) in 2023 with the theme "Real Work Serving the Country, Generating Quality Economy and Health" to take place in the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building, Jimbaran Campus, Friday (27/1/2023). KKN PPM will take place from 28 January to 11 March 2023.
Head of LPPM Unud Prof. I Nyoman Suarsana in his report said that there were 393 students participating in the KKN PPM XXVI PPM from 13 faculties, with the majority coming from the Faculty of Engineering followed by the Faculty of Economics and Business and so on, which will be spread across 24 villages in three regencies, namely Tabanan, Gianyar and Karangasem. It is hoped that KKN students can translate major themes according to specific themes in the village. These students will go down to the village starting tomorrow, for that they should prepare themselves both mentally and spiritually. While in the village, the LPPM Team will also carry out administrative monitoring and evaluation, namely two weeks after being in the village and two weeks before it ends. Students will be in the village for one month and two weeks, for this reason, what has been given in the debriefing should be examined. Do not do things that tarnish the alma mater. This KKN period involved 24 Field Supervisors from various faculties.
The release of the KKN students was marked by the use of name tags and hats to students and DPL as well as a symbolic handover to representatives of Ketewel Village by the Rector of Udayana University.
Rector of Unud Prof. I Nyoman Gde Antara in his direction to KKN students said that the implementation of KKN PPM is held twice a year, usually the number of participants in the January period is relatively less than in the July or August periods. The 393 KKN students will be spread across 24 villages so that on average there will be 16 to 20 students in each village. He hopes that students will not waste the opportunity while in the village, when they are in the village they will immediately execute the program that has been prepared because time will pass quickly.
It is hoped that the Community Service Program will be substantively beneficial to the community, for that to show quality as a quality Unud student. This KKN PPM XXVI must have an impact on the community, which can be seen by the differences before and after the implementation of the KKN which provided benefits to the village. Through this KKN PPM should be able to empower the community. The program is carried out to suit the needs of the community and conditions in the village.
