PS UNUD BIOTECHNOLOGY MAGISTER BACK SEND 5 DOUBLE DEGREE STUDENTS TO IBARAKI
Denpasar -,Tuesday 18 September 2018 at the Sudirman Denpasar Campus Postgraduate Building, five students of the Biotechnology Master Study Program at Udayana University were released by the Chancellor of Unud, Prof. A.A Raka Sudewi with Senate Chair, Prof. Dewa Ngurah Suprapta to attend the Double Degree program at Ibaraki University, Japan for one year.
The Double Degree Program is an implementation of the collaboration established by Udayana University with Ibaraki University. This is the second time Unud students have been sent to Japan after receiving a scholarship from JASSO (Japan Student Service Organization). The five lucky students this time were Ni Kadek Desy Andya Dewi, Ni Luh Putu Citra Innosensia, I Wayan Diksa Gargita, Dewa Putu Arta Jaya and I Putu Wirya Suputra. This program requires students to complete two theses, namely at Unud and at Ibaraki University. Students must also be able and successful in completing these two theses to obtain a degree.
Chancellor of Unud, Prof. A.A Raka Sudewi on the occasion conveyed that what was obtained by the five Biotechnology Masters Study Program students was a very proud achievement of Unud and was very closely related in improving competitiveness and increasing outbound / internationalization programs. The Chancellor hopes that students can prepare themselves as well as possible and adapt to Japanese culture, so that they can complete the Double Degree program successfully and return to Unud to graduate.
