CHAIRMAN OF LP3M, SIX PROGRAM STUDY ARE PREPARED TO FOLLOW AUN-QA
Denpasar - The Institute for Development, Learning and Quality Assurance (LP3M) Udayana University held a Workshop on SPM Development and AUN-QA Certification (Asean University Network-Quality Assurance) at Wiswakarma Hall 4th floor of Faculty of Engineering Denpasar, on Tuesday (26/09/2017). The workshop was attended by Dean of the Faculty and the Head of Study Program and UPMF Study Program that have been prepared to follow AUN-QA.

Chairman of LP3M Unud, Ir. I Nengah Sujaya, Ma.Agr.Sc.Ph.D said there were six study program that prepared to follow AUN-QA. In accordance with the Renstra of Unud, it is expected that there are at least two study programs that have been certified internationally. The workshop presented Prof. Dr. Ir. Dr. Gentur AUN-QA Assessor from Gadjah Mada University. Previously, the same workshops were held by presenting speakers from UPI and ITS. Through this activity is expected to provide information which related to the steps that must be done and prepared by the study program that related to the participation of AUN-QA.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gede Antara, M.Eng in his speech conveyed in the internationalization context, AUN-QA is the first step that must be done. Previously, two Unud’s observers have been sent to ITS to conduct AUN-QA visitation, and are expected to provide input and information as an illustration to face AUN-QA. Internationalization of universities is also very important for a university in terms of admission of foreign students. Currently, PSPD FK Unud is considered ready to follow AUN-QA, and will be followed by other study programs from Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
