UNIVERSITAS YUDHARTA, Comparative Study in Developing Human Resource to UNUD
Bukit Jimbaran – Udayana University (Unud) received a visit from Yudharta University Pasuruan, East Java on Wednesday (06/09/2017) in Bangsa Room Rectorate Building Campus Bukit Jimbaran. The visitation was addressed in order of comparative study in developing Human Resources and the implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. In order of improvement the institution towards the ideal college institution, it needs to do some efforts, one of them is in getting some information from others university. Udayana University became one of the references from Yudharta University Pasuruan in developing their Higher Institution. The Entourage of Yudharta University Pasuruan which were consisted of Rector, Vice Rectors, The Deans, The Head of Program Study, The Head of Institution, Bureau and The Head of UPT. All of them were received by Vice Rector for General and Finance Unud and accompanied by part of SDM.
Vice Rector I, Dr. Muzakki, M.Si represented the entourage in his speech conveyed through this opportunity to learn a lot from Udayana which in terms of age, Udayana is older than Yudharta University. Furthermore, Muzakki conveyed that Yudharta University of Pasuruan is relatively new and in carrying out its activities that emphasizes on the development of pluralistic religious basic values which are more commonly called Multicultural Campus. In this comparative study it was expected that there would be sharing that related to the development of quality assurance, the fulfillment of minimum standards of lecturers and the improvement of qualifications of educators to improve accreditation. The visit was also based on the effort to increase public interest for the lecture considering the desire of the Minister of Research and Technology to conduct university mergers whose students are less than 1000 people. Suggestions and inputs are desirable to get a chance of university development in the future.

Vice Rector for General and Finance Affairs, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Bagus Wiksuana, SE., MS in his speech delivered a glimpse of the profile and organizational structure that exist in Unud. Further Prof. Wiksuana conveyed that Unud is still experiencing some obstacles in governance, especially the adjustment to the organization structure in accordance with OTK and Statute which were recently passed. In accordance with the OTK, Unud has four Vice Rectors and four Bureaus which are the driving force of the university. Associated with human resource development, Unud still continues to develop quality and education both educators and education personnel in the university environment. Prof. Wiksuana hopes that this visit will give some benefits to both parties in institutional development.
Head of Human Resources Division, Nyoman Sumayadnya, conveyed since the change of OTK the coverage of Human Resource Division became wider up to the planning of procurement of educator and education personnel. The University also continues to make various efforts in the development of competence through improving the education and staff’s skill. In the case of improving the skill of educator at Udayana University implemented by Institute of Development, Learning and Quality Assurance (LP3M) through training of curriculum development and learning achievement. Associated with university education personnel has done some development competence through various technical guidance activities.
The group also got exposure from USDI Team on IMISSU Unud. IMISSU is a system developed to manage information and facilitate in the process of governance within Udayana University. The visit ended with a presentation of appreciation from the Rector of Yudharta Pasuruan University to the Udayana University who has received and shared information that related to the development of education in universities.
