Prof. Dr. Ir. Slamet Trisutomo: "Bali is not enough to be reviewed Especially In The Field Of Architecture"
Denpasar - Friday (19/05/2017), Udayana University Architecture Master Program was visited by BAN-PT Assessor in the field of accreditation of institution. BAN-PT Assessor consisted of Prof. Dr. Ir. Slamet Trisutomo, MS (UNHAS) and Dr. Ir. Heru Purboyo Hidayat Putro, DEA (ITB) was accepted by Rector of Unud at the Meeting Room of Postgraduate Director of Kampus Sudirman Denpasar. The Deputy Rector I, Post Graduate Director, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Vice Dean I of Faculty of Engineering, Head of LP3M, Head of Graduate Quality Assurance Unit and Head of Master of Architecture.
Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD-KEMD in his speech delivered that Prodi Architecture is one of the oldest majors in Unud, and it is a luck for Unud Bali which has its own distinctive architectural features. This large capital is expected to be well managed by Prodi in self-development. Further Prof. Ketut Suastika conveyed this field assessment to provide input and discussion related to the progress of the field of architecture. The Rector also expressed his appreciation to the management team who had prepared the accreditation process well and hoped to get the best value.
Representative of Assessor Prof. Dr. Ir. Slamet Trisutomo also conveyed that Bali is not exhausted to be studied, especially in the field of architecture. Further Prof. Slamet said one week before the assessor team had taken a picture from the distance of Master Program of Architecture by reading the form which sent to BAN-PT. Then get an assignment to look directly through the field assessment. Through Assessment The assessor team will explore things that have not been included in the form. Activities to be conducted in this assessment include interviews with leaders, interviews with lecturers and students, as well as interviews with alumni. Previously Asesor has sent the file to be completed and has been responded well by Prodi Magister Architecture.
Master of Architecture Program hopes through this accreditation process can improve the accreditation status from B to A with the maximum effort already done civitas academia Prodi Architecture.(PR)
