Electrical Engineering 2016^th Generation is Champion of Electro POR 2017

Badung - Friday, March 17, 2017 Electrical Students’ association held a closing ceremony at the same time handing prizes to the winners of Electrical Sports Week 2017. The closing ceremony was held at the football field Bukit Jimbaran, Udayana University. The aim of the POR Electro is to find the talented candidates to represent the electro department in Engineering or other competitions of POR. POR Electro 2017 carried a theme "Sporty For Healthy" and held for three weeks by the seven sports competed. Sports on the race circuit POR Electro 2017 was officially closed by Vice Dean III of Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.

POR Electro is an annual work program of Electrical Students’ Association. Participants in this activity are electrical engineering 2012^th, 2014^th, 2015^th, and 2016^th generation as well as the non-reguler students. The student of 2013^th generation did not follow POR Electro due largely carry out the KKN (Community Service Program). Amounted to 57 committee consisting of 2014^th until 2016^th generation. In 2017 POR Electro have 7 sports to be contested, they are badminton, basketball, volleyball, chess, football, futsal, and table tennis. The result of the contest of the seven sports on the Electronic Sports 2017 is as follows:

The champion of POR Electro 2017 is electrical engineering 2016^th generation. There are differences from POR Electro this year with previous years. What distinguishes it is that the POR Electrical 2017 followed by electrical engineering non-reguler students. In previous years non-reguler students did not participate in POR Electro.

"Happy and proud of the whole committee because we can carry out these activities. For the future I hope we can hold events with the lecturers. For the creation of familiarity not only among students, but also with the lecturers." said Gregorius Reza Dwi, electrical engineering student 2014^th generation who is chairman of the committee of POR Electro 2017.
