Opening Events of National Symposium and Workshop on Anti-Aging Medicine (NASWAAM) by Rector of Udayana University

Sunset Garden Convention Center, 24 Februari 2017, Udayana University in collaboration with INCAAM, SCI, Stem Live and the Indonesian Christian University held a National Symposium and Workshop on Anti-Aging Medicine with the theme was "Anti-Aging Medicine: after 10 years in Indonesia", on Friday, February 24th, 2017 at the Sunset Garden Convention Center Harris Sunset Garden Hotel, Badung, Bali. This event was held in commemoration of 10 years of Graduate Education Anti-Aging Medicine in Indonesia. This event also launched Hymn Of Anti-Aging Medicine World Udayana to Indonesia and whose lyrics were created by Prof. Dr. dr. Wimpie Pangkahila, Sp.And. The event were attended by the Rector of Udayana University, Prof.Dr.dr. Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD-KEMD, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), Prof. Dr. Ilham Oetama Marsis, Sp.OG, Director of the Post Graduate Program of Udayana University, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Udayana University, Chairman of the Medical Education Faculty of Medicine Udayana and about 400 students of medical faculty from all over Indonesia. This symposium also presented the speakers from the University of Queensland, Australia. Symposium lasted for three days from 24-26 February 2017.
Prof. Dr.dr. Wimpie Pangkahila, Sp.And as the Chairman of the Committee has informed that the event is an annual event that has been held since 2011. Until now Anti-Aging Medicine program still in demand by a variety of participants from various parts of Indonesia. During the event of the symposium presented various topics of Anti-Aging Medicine and the paper is free to fight Indonesian Award for Anti-Aging Medicine in 2017.
Chairman of the Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) on the same occasion submitted the study of Anti-Aging is a combination of various disciplines of medicine that deals with aesthetics and cosmetics. IDI Chairman also wished the Faculty of Medicine will be able to prepare doctors in Indonesia which has a certificate of competence in the field of anti-aging to be able to compete internationally.
Rector of Udayana University in his speech expressed his appreciation to Prof. Wimpie Pangkahila that has been instrumental in the development of Anti-Aging at the University of Udayana. Rector also hopes that the Anti-Aging Medicine can be a professional organization should be developed considering the prospects are good enough to meet the needs of the community.(PR)
