Rector of Udayana University in Giving Welcoming Speech about Public Lecturing, which collaborated with BPK RI
To celebrate the 54th anniversary of Udayana University, Udayana University held a public lecture in cooperation with the Financial Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia. This public lecture held at Widya Sabha Auditorium, Kampus Bukit Jimbaran on 22nd of September 2016. The event with the theme "Accountability Implementation of Higher Education in Indonesia" is lectured by Dr. H. Harry Azhar, M.A. as speaker, also as the chairman of the Financial Supervisory Agency of the Republic of Indonesia. And this public lecture was also attended by Rector of Udayana University Prof.Dr.dr. Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD.KEMD to give a welcoming speech.
In this speech, he revealed that it became a pride of Udayana University to be visited by the Supervisory Board of the Republic of Indonesia, in the main reason that they are the one who can lead us in building better good governance. Since not always the leadership at the university understand and know about building good governance in the management of the institution, especially about money, so at this time there is no other way unless we build together with the institutions and working with the field of institutional management. Rector of Udayana University hoped in the relation to the problem assets and the management of the institution can be done in a better direction. Udayana University as the Public Service Agency (BLU), will have consequences in the implementation of transparency and accountability in all aspects, including financial.
Lastly, Rector of Udayana University expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the BPK that often we ask for opinions, guidance and always except the communication on the management of the institution towards good governance better. (mimi)
