2016’S SOCIALIZATION OF SNMPTN, SBMPTN, AND BIDIKMISI SCHOLARSHIP

A 2016’s socialization of SNMPTN, SBMPTN (public university’s entering test), and Bidikmisi (scholarship test) was held by Academic Administration Bureau (BAA), Vice Rector, and all Vice Deans in all faculties in Unud. They delivered the socialization to a number of high schools in all regions in Bali.

The goal of this socialization was to introduce the selection processes of public university’s entering test procedure to all high school students so that many problems found in their schools could be solved. The socialization team delivered some information about Bidikmisi scholarship as well. This scholarship is very beneficial, especially for those who have a big will to enter university but do not have enough money to pay the fee. In addition, the team also delivered some information about the university, about the university’s vision and mission, and some departments in the university. It was expected that from this socialization, the students could know more about Unud and continue their education to higher education, especially Unud.

In the discussion of the socialization, there were many problems found about the registration process on SNMPTN and SBMPTN. The most questions-asked was about uploading data to PDSS (the central information of schools and students’ website) system. There was a difference in uploading the data in this year, in which the students were asked to select the curriculum that their schools used, whether it is 2016 or 2013’s curriculum. There were also many questions came from the students, asking about departments in Unud, indicating the enthusiasm of the students to continue their studies in Unud. In addition, the vice deans delivered some information about some departments in their faculties, especially about the departments which are not so popular as well. (ayuniantari)
