Udayana University Joint Student Affairs Working Meeting Discusses Leading Work Programs for 2025

Jimbaran - The Student Affairs Bureau of Udayana University (Unud) held a Joint Working Meeting (Rakergab) for Student Affairs in 2025 at the Bangsa Room, Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Thursday (27/2/2025). The meeting, which was opened directly by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, was attended by the Head of the Student Affairs Bureau, the Faculty Vice Deans for Student and Information Affairs, Heads and Secretaries of Units within BKM, UKM Trustees, Coordinators and Sub-Coordinators at BKM and staff, as well as Leaders of University and Faculty Ormawa Levels.

This Rakergab also presented three speakers, namely the Head of the Center for Student Achievement and Creativity, Dr. I Wayan Santiyasa with activity program material based on achievement and KPI in the field of student affairs, Head of MBKM Unit Prof. I Ketut Sardiana with material on the implementation of MBKM at Udayana University, and Head of the Talent Interest Development and Student Organization Unit Dr. Dewa Gede Wiryangga Selangga with material on optimizing student organization development patterns as a vehicle for developing student character as superior individuals, with a national perspective and a social spirit.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, I Made Budiastrawan (Coordinator of Student Interests, Talents, Reasoning and Information), in his report said that this activity was attended by 34 Ormawa consisting of DPM, BEM and 32 Student Activity Units (UKM). Apart from that, we also invited Ormawa at the Faculty level. The Joint Student Organization Working Meeting is an annual routine activity involving representatives of student organizations at Udayana University to discuss and plan work programs that will be implemented in 2025.

The purpose of this meeting is to equalize perceptions related to the work plans of all components in the student affairs sector so that they become one direction and can work together to create student activities that are effective, efficient and capable of producing students with character, as superior individuals who are able to compete and achieve globally. Apart from that, it is also to improve coordination between student organizations in order to realize more effective and synergistic activities and determine superior programs that will be implemented together in 2025.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya in his speech said that as a Higher Education institution, Udayana University does not only focus on teaching and research, but also on character formation, leadership and organizational skills which are very much needed in the world of work and social life. Student organizations are a very important forum in this process. Through this organization, you can learn many things, from time management, teamwork, to public speaking skills and designing various useful programs.

"I hope that this working meeting can produce strategic steps that can strengthen the existence of our student organizations. It is hoped that every program prepared will not only be relevant to the organization's internal needs, but can also make a positive contribution to Udayana University and society," said the Vice Rector.

He also said that everyone has a big responsibility in realizing the vision and mission of Udayana University, namely producing graduates who not only excel in academics, but also have social awareness and strong organizational skills. With the spirit of togetherness, creativity and dedication, this student organization can continue to grow and have a significant impact.
