Udayana University Collaborates with PT Regional Development Bank of West Java and Banten
Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) has collaborated with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah West Java and Banten, Tbk (Bank BJB) which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by the Rector of Unud with the Main Director of Bank BJB located in the Bahasa Room of the Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus , Monday (16/12/2024). The MoU signing event was also attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information at Udayana University, Heads of Bureaus and several leaders within Bank BJB.
Rector of Unud Prof. I Ketut Sudarsana in his speech introduced briefly the profile of Udayana University which has around 30 thousand students in 128 study programs. This is a huge potential that is managed by Udayana University, including the assets it owns, including human resources. The party is very open to collaborating with partners, one of which is Bank BJB in managing assets at Udayana University, which in this case is related to banking.
Apart from that, it is also hoped that through collaboration, students will be given the opportunity to do internships or field practice at Bank BJB so that they can provide practical insight to students. The Rector hopes that after signing this MoU, in the future more detailed cooperation can be implemented through the signing of the PKS.
"Hopefully, with this good start, the signing of this MoU, we will be able to work together more widely and can also partner well in the future," said the Rector of Unud.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Bank BJB, Yuddy Renaldi, expressed his gratitude for the acceptance of Udayana University in the context of signing a memorandum of understanding in the context of implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education through cooperation, which in this case is related to banking services. Bank BJB's current position in the national banking industry is in the top 12 nationally. As a regional development bank, Bank BJB is the bank with the largest assets in Indonesia.
"We from Bank BJB express our deepest gratitude for this collaboration, there are many things we can collaborate on, especially banking services that we can help with, we have two application programs that can be implemented by Udayana University," he said.
Through this opportunity, the party also asked that the BJB Bank Team be given the opportunity to carry out socialization regarding the programs they have. Apart from that, Bank BJB also has collaborations with several national and private universities. The Managing Director of Bank BJB hopes that this collaboration will be a positive thing for both parties and will become an important part of Bank BJB's future progress.
