Freedom of Learning Festival Workshop, Independent Campus, Udayana University
Denpasar - A workshop in the framework of the Independent Campus Learning Festival (MBKM) of Udayana University (Unud) was held in the Nusantara Room, Agrokompleks Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Friday (13/12/2024). The topics discussed were related to the independent student exchange program. The workshop presented resource persons from the Head of the MBKM Unit, USDI and the PD Dikti Unit Reporting Team.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs at Unud Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya in his direction said that MBKM is a must for every university and there is a target of 30 percent. This is a target that must be achieved, but if it is evaluated, no faculty has achieved this target, so through this activity a solution is sought to achieve this target which also affects IKU achievements.
The Vice Rector hopes that in this activity bright ideas will emerge on how to achieve this target. It is hoped that the Chair of MBKM and the USDI Team will be able to provide information on how to achieve this, including monitoring outside the university regarding what is being done, which we can later use as an example for implementation at Udayana University. There are many MBKM activities that we have not carried out, one of which is learning exchanges between study programs and we can discuss how to implement them in this workshop. Then there are also more independent MBKM that can be carried out and the IKU target can be achieved well.
Head of the Unud MBKM Unit Dr. Ketut Sardiana in his material said that there were obstacles faced in implementing MBKM and one of them was that quite a lot of Unud MBKM participants were not recorded in the IKU, which was mostly due to problems in the study program, especially in the academic process. So those invited to attend this workshop were the relevant Vice Deans and Study Program Coordinators to equalize perceptions.
