Udayana University Signs MoU with Bhayangkara University Surabaya

Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) started collaboration with Bhayangkara University (Ubhara) Surabaya by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Rector of Unud and the Rector of Ubhara Surabaya, located in the Bahasa Room of the Unud Rectorate Building, Jimbaran Campus, Monday (29/1/2024).

In carrying out the signing of this MoU, a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Arrangement (IA) were also signed between the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Unud and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ubhara Surabaya. Also present at the signing were Ubhara Surabaya, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Head of the Cooperation Institute, Head of the Domestic Cooperation Section, and Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, while Unud was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, the Chair of UPIKS FT, and Lecturer/Representative from the Information Technology Study Program.

Rector of Unud Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana took this opportunity to convey a glimpse of the profile of Udayana University, which currently has 13 faculties and one postgraduate program with 123 study programs. Currently, Unud has the status of a Public Service Agency (BLU) and is in the process of being transferred to PTNBH, and the university's accreditation currently has superior status.

The party is very open to collaborating with various parties, including various universities, government agencies and companies in order to build cooperation in accordance with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. For this reason, the Rector invited Ubhara Surabaya to propose collaboration that could be carried out in various forms of technical activities with various appropriate faculties at Udayana University, so that they could mutually complement the strengths and weaknesses of each institution.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Ubhara Surabaya, Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Drs. Anton Setiadji, SH., MH said that Ubhara Surabaya currently has 4 faculties and only 11 study programs. Ubhara still has many things to learn and for this he needs help and collaboration with Udayana University. They will learn a lot at Udayana University, one of which is the Faculty of Engineering, so that there are many things that could possibly be developed in future study programs. Ubhara Surabaya has also established various collaborations including with three regional governments in East Java, the Regional Tax Office, as well as universities in Yogya and various companies in East Java.

Rector of Ubhara expressed his gratitude for the collaboration that has been established with Udayana University. He hopes that both staff and other tri dharma activities can be collaborated by both parties.
