Rector of Unud Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana in his speech said that as we all know, currently Bali tourism has revived and revived after previously slumping during the Covid-19 era. Along with this, old problems reappeared such as traffic jams, stranded foreign tourists, rubbish and so on. Of course, this is a common challenge for all of us and especially for academic circles. How to think of the right solution but also quite realistic. It is the dream of all of us that tourism develops qualitatively so that its impacts can be reduced and natural conditions are maintained.

Now there is new hope for us where the Bali Provincial Government will implement a levy on foreign tourists so that it is hoped that there will be sufficient funds to overcome various problems. We must support local governments through regional regulations that have been issued and that we supervise together so that they truly contribute to Bali tourism. Through this activity, we will discuss it with tourism experts who are present and observe how our tourism is developing.

"Hopefully this seminar will run well and can provide input to the Regional Government regarding the tourism levies that will be implemented," said the Rector.

The seminar began with the delivery of material by IB Putu Sandhi Yudistira from Telkom Witel Denpasar on the topic Telkom For Indonesia Digital Tourism. Then continued with a panel discussion with five speakers moderated by Dr. Nararya Narottama (Lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism, Unud).
