The Inauguration of the IKAYANA Management was Coupled with the Signing of an MoU with Udayana University, Denpasar City Government and BNI

The inauguration of the Management of the Udayana University Alumni Association (IKAYANA) for the 2023-2027 period was held in the Hall of the Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Saturday (2/12/2023). The inauguration of the management was also accompanied by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Ikayana and Udayana University (Unud), Denpasar City Government and BNI. This activity was attended by the General Chair of IKAYANA, Rector of Unud, Vice Mayor of Denpasar, Advisory Council and other invitees. During the activity, the KTA IKAYANA co-branding was also launched in collaboration with BNI.

Chairman of IKAYANA Dr. IB Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra in his speech said that his party was trying to rebrand again based on discussions with several colleagues for IKAYANA. We are trying to rebrand again for problems within the IKAYANA organization by carrying out co-branding with various parties. In particular, this co-branding is the first thing we have done with the government and we have seen that the Denpasar City government has been very responsive.

We really need government participation in implementing internship activities. Internships are not only during PKL, but even when graduating, graduates also have to undertake an internship process. Maybe the government could provide internship opportunities for a year before the graduates decide where they want to work. The next co-branding is with BNI which has a very extensive network. This co-branding is expected to manage the aspirations of Ikayana members.

"We ask for prayers and ask for deep support, especially the Rector who is the protector and all levels of the university and also on this occasion there is the Vice Mayor, actually IKAYANA too and our co-branding colleagues, especially those who can provide us with support and continuity of our journey ," said Rai Mantra.

Through this opportunity, the party also invited them to maintain the honor of the alma mater and of course serve the community in the future.

Rector of Unud Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana on this occasion congratulated the inauguration of the new management and hoped that they would contribute to Udayana University. It was further stated that there are more than 120 thousand alumni of Udayana University spread across various countries, in various regions. This is what we need to maintain, namely the militancy of the alumni which cannot be compared to other large universities.

"Hopefully with this new management, we hope that IKAYANA will progress further, contributing more to its alma mater," said the Rector of Unud.

The role of alumni is highly expected, positive militancy is also highly expected. Alumni are expected to be able to contribute not only materially but also in other ways. The alumni have a duty as Public Relations of Udayana University to introduce more about the existence of Udayana University.

Meanwhile, Vice Mayor of Denpasar I Kadek Agus Arya Wibawa, SE., MM also congratulated the inauguration of the new management and hoped that they would be able to carry out their duties and obligations professionally, innovatively and responsibly by prioritizing synergy and collaboration to further advance the organization and be able to organize and realizing programs that are able to foster love and added value among its members. It is also hoped that the potential of alumni can also contribute to development and social life.
