In the Context of Accreditation, the Doctoral Study Program in Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University was visited by the LAMEMBA Assessor Team

The Doctoral Study Program in Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (FEB Unud), was visited by the Field Assessment Team of the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Business Management and Accounting (LAMEMBA) in the context of study program accreditation, located in the MM Building, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unud, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar , Monday (23/10/23).

The LAMEMBA assessor team who attended this occasion, Prof. Dr. Grahita Chandrarin, M.Si., Ak., CA (Independent University of Malang) and Prof. Dr. Haryono Umar, Ak., M.Sc., CA., CPAM (Perbanas Asia Institute of Banking Finance and Informatics). Also present from Udayana University, Plt. Rector, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Head of Planning Bureau, Heads of Institutions, Head of Language Center, Head of Libraries, Chair and Secretary of the FEB Senate, Dean of FEB, Vice Deans of FEB, Professors within FEB as well as other invitations.

Plt. Rector of Unud Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT., Ph.D., IPU expressed his welcome to the Assessor Team, especially at the Faculty of Economics and Business who will carry out assessments for two days, hopefully what has been well prepared can provide maximum results.

Apart from that, it was also conveyed that in realizing public accountability, the Study Program must actively build an internal quality assurance system (SPMI) to prove that the internal quality assurance system has been implemented properly and correctly. "So every year, the study programs at Unud undergo an Internal Academic Quality Audit (AMAI) by LP3M continuously once a year, including the Doctor of Accounting Study Program, study programs must also be accredited by an external quality assurance agency to improve academic quality, human resources, facilities and others," said Plt. Rector.

Study Program accreditation is a comprehensive evaluation and assessment process of the Study Program's commitment to the quality and capacity of implementing the higher education tridharma program as a form of university responsibility in terms of the quality of graduates to stakeholders.

FEB is one of the large faculties within Unud, with 19 professors. Of the 12 study programs at FEB, 10 of them have been accredited A or excellent 2, very good, and internationally accredited 1 study program is the Master of Management accredited ABEST21, 1 is AUN certified, namely the Bachelor of Development Economics, and this year Unud will apply for FIBAA for 14 programs studies, of which 4 are at FEB. "Hopefully this year proposals can be submitted and more study programs at Unud will be internationally accredited and by carrying out this field assessment, it is hoped that it will provide the best results for the Doctoral Study Program in Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University," added the Plt. Rector.

Meanwhile Prof. Dr. Grahita Chandrarin, M.Si., Ak., CA on this occasion said that her team's arrival at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University was on assignment from LAMEMBA, which will be on duty from adequacy assessment to field assessment which will be carried out for two days. In this case, the decision and executive from LAMEMBA Number 210 regarding the facilities provided by universities or study program implementation units in the implementation of field assessments received by the assessors by Prof. Grahita. "We as assessors will carry out our duties here and really need the cooperation of all of you as well as possible in accordance with the procedures determined by LAMEMBA, so that this field assessment will run smoothly and we can provide the best results," said Prof Grahita.
