Udayana University Scouting UKM Ormawa PPK Team Participates in National Village Empowerment Seminar

The PPK Ormawa Team of the Student Activity Unit (UKM) Scouts of Udayana University (Unud) took part in the National Village Empowerment Seminar by Ormawa which was organized by the Student and Alumni Affairs Division of Tidar University, Magelang, Central Java, Friday, 29 September 2023, at GKU dr. H.R. Suparsono Tidar University. This National Seminar was held to meet the mandatory output of the 2023 Ormawa Capacity Strengthening Program (PPK) activities in the form of scientific articles that will be presented and published.

The National Seminar on Village Empowerment by Ormawa was opened by the Rector of Tidar University, Prof. Dr. Sugiyarto, M.Sc. The speakers at this national seminar were the Director of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Dr. Ir. Sri Suning Kusumawardani, S.T., M.T.), Lecturer at the Indonesian Education University (Prof. Dr. Uyu Wahyudin, M.Pd.), and the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs at Tidar University (Prof. Dr. Parmin, S.Pd., M.Pd.).

This national seminar raised 16 article topics including Entrepreneurial Villages/subdistricts, Samart Farming, Women's Schools, Digital Villages/Subdistricts, Young Farmers' Studio, Toga Conservation Villages, Digital Waste Houses, Healthy Villages/Subdistricts, Smart Villages/Subdistricts, Climate Villages, Villages /Maritime Village, Forest Village, Arts and Culture Village, Sports Village, Tourism Village, and Free Topics.

The PPK Ormawa UKM Scout Team at Udayana University on this occasion presented the topic of the Toga Conservation Village article with the title Empowering the Community of Songan B Kintamani Village in Utilizing Moringa Plants. The presentation was made by the team leader, Ni Nyoman Ratna Ningsih, accompanied by the supervisor, Dr. Ir. Ni Luh Gde Sumardani, S.Pt., M.Sc.
