Udayana University Welcomes 100 PMM-DN 2022 Inbound Students

In the context of implementing the Independent Domestic Student Exchange (PMM-DN) Batch II, Udayana University welcomed 100 PMM-DN Batch II Inbound Students at the Postgraduate Hall, Sudirman Campus, Monday (05/09/2022). These inbound students came from 44 universities throughout Indonesia, consisting of 93 PMM-DN Batch II Inbound students and 7 Independent PMM-DN Batch II inbound students, Universitas Gadjah Mada.

Coordinator of MBKM Udayana University Dr. I Ketut Sardiana in his report said that this PMM-DN activity was an implementation of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) activity where there was an exchange of students for 1 semester from the original university to the recipient university in a different cluster. Furthermore, the MBKM Coordinator of Udayana University said that the number of inbound PMM-DN Batch II students at Udayana University reached 93 people out of 1,067 applicants.

"In addition to the 93 inbound students of PMM-DN Batch II, there are also independent inbound students from Gadjah Mada University who specialize in student exchange from different universities in the same study program, namely at the Faculty of Animal Science as many as 7 people, bringing the total to 100 Inbound students at Udayana University. ", added the Udayana University MBKM Coordinator.

Representative of Pokja MBKM PMM-DN Kemendikbudristek Dewi Dini, S.E., Ak. in his speech, he congratulated the PMM-DN Batch II students who had arrived at Udayana University. It was further stated that this PMM-DN is a very expensive opportunity so that it should not be wasted. "This activity is an expensive lesson, so that later our students will be able to become leaders who synergize from Sabang to Merauke united in all their differences", said the Representative of the MBKM PMM-DN Working Group.

PIC of Representatives of Higher Education Sending PMM-DN, represented by Adi Sumarsono, S.Pd., M.Pd. from Musamus University Merauke Papua in his speech expressed his gratitude to Udayana University which has accepted 23 Musamus University students at Udayana University spread across various study programs. It is hoped that through this student exchange program, students can gain a lot of knowledge by studying at Udayana University to the fullest.

While the Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., IPU. on this occasion said that Udayana University is currently entering a fairly old age of 60 years, precisely on September 29, 2022 Udayana University will celebrate its 60th Anniversary. Udayana University currently has 13 Faculties and 1 Postgraduate Program with details of 118 Study Programs of which 52 Study Programs for S0 and S1. "We are very happy to welcome you to study at Udayana University, hopefully through this PMM-DN activity it can give meaning to your life journey", said the Rector.
