Faculty of Economics and Business Unud Holds International Webinar of Economics and Business

The Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University held an International Webinar of Economics and Business with the theme "Internationalizing Schools to Gain and Maintain Competitive Advantage" which took place online through the Cisco Webex Application, Thursday (02/09/2021).

This International Webinar was held in series with the 54th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. Three international keynote speakers were present to share their expertise and experience on the importance of internationalization and international accreditation. This webinar was attended by more than 3000 registered participants from 8 countries namely Indonesia, China, Australia, Japan, Timor Leste, Germany and Singapore which can be followed online through Cisco Webex Events and the official Youtube channel 'Media FEB UNUD'.

Also attending this event was the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, IPU., Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, S.E., M.T., Ph.D., AACSB Executive Vice President and Chief Officer of Asia Pacific, namely Dr. Geoff Perry, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada Dr. Eko Suwardi, M.Sc., Deans and Vice Deans from all faculties in Udayana University.

This International Webinar begins with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, Agoes Ganesha Rahyuda, SE, MT, Ph.D., who said that the participation of participants in this webinar means that they are in the right place to exchange ideas and improve good practice in terms of internationalization of units located in the University environment to achieve a competitive advantage.

The Dean of FEB hopes that these presentations, discussions, and activities will not only educate participants, but also the government, business people, academics, and the community to collaborate together in providing the best education for the community.

Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, IPU., in his speech said that the theme of this event was in line with Udayana University's goal of becoming a World Class University. The Faculty of Economics and Business is the first at Udayana University to receive international accreditation, namely ABEST 21. This accreditation is followed by AUN-QA accreditation and AACSB membership. This achievement is a very good start to increase international recognition.

While the Executive Vice President and Chief Officer of Asia Pacific AACSB Dr. Geoff Perry stated that, the joining of the Faculty of Economics and Business at Udayana University with AACSB signifies a commitment to focus on quality through innovation and concern for improvement that has an impact on business students in the wider community in society as a form of global learning. FEB UNUD also shows a commitment to challenging itself to be the best business school. Dr. Geoff Perry also said welcome and welcome to FEB Unud with AACSB, the most prestigious business school community. AACSB will work, support, and connect FEB to a global network of business schools.
