FTP Unud Holds National Online Seminar on Agricultural Technology 2021

The 2021 Online National Seminar on Agricultural Technology with the theme "Agro-Industrial Innovation in Supporting the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals", Friday (21/05/2021) which took place online and was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Ketut Satriawan, M.T.

The Dean of the FTP in his speech said that agro-industry has a fairly wide scope of fields, one of which focuses is the processing of agricultural products in a sustainable manner. Through this focus, SDGS (Sustainable Development Goals) number 2, namely reducing hunger and increasing food security, can be achieved with the advancement of agro-industry. Efforts that can be made related to this are meeting food needs through local food consumption, downstreaming local resources into staple food sources to replace rice, for example by processing it into analog rice, providing alternative foods such as using tuber flour from Indonesian crops as a source of food. wheat raw materials for noodles, pasta, cookies and bread, as well as independent food supply as an application of agro-industrial science at the family level.

The Online National Seminar on Agricultural Technology which was held online via room webex and live on the youtube channel of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology was attended by 190 participants from various agencies.

The event was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nengah Kencana, M.S. from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University, by presenting 5 speakers, namely (1) Dr.rer.nat. Ignasius Radix AP Jati, S.TP., MP from the Department of Food Technology, Widya Mandala Catholic University, Surabaya, with the material "Potential for Food Innovation Based on Underutilized Cereals as Supporting the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, (2) Dr. Nita Kuswardhani, S.TP., M.Eng. From the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Department of Agricultural Product Technology, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, University of Jember presented the material "Post-Harvest Handling Supply Chain Analysis of Tomatoes to Support the Achievement of Sustainable Development Goals", (3) Dr. Ir. I Dewa Gde Mayun Permana , MS. From the Food Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University with the material "Potential of Grain Lipase in Agro-Industry Development", (4) I Made Mahaputra Wijaya, Ph.D from the Agricultural Industrial Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University with the material "Molecular Analysis Using FTIR Spectroscopy" and (5) Dr. Ir. Yohanes Setiyo, MP from the Industrial Engineering Study Program. rtagany and Biosystems, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University with the material "Productivity and Quality of Cultivated Potato Consumption in Microclimate Change".
