Udayana University held the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Innovation (ICSCI).

Udayana University held the 3rd International Conference on Smart City Innovation (ICSCI). The 2020 ICSCI was held in conjunction with the 13th Regional Conference (RCEneE) and the 3rd International Conference on Dwelling Form (iDwell) which took place online through the Webex Application.

This activity was coordinated by GAM Suartika, ST., MEngSc., PhD and team and was held for two days, Tuesday (27/10/2020) and Wednesday (28/10/2020). This international conference was opened by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, representing the Rector of Udayana University. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Udayana University in this case also plays a role as Chair of the Smart City of Udayana University.

In his remarks Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng said that the Udayana University Smart City was honored to have the opportunity to hold ICSCI 2020. This is one of the activities initiated by the Smart City Team of the University of Indonesia in Jakarta and designated as an annual conference. The two ICSCIs were previously held in Bandung by the Smart City Team of Padjajaran University and in Semarang by the Diponegoro University Smart City Team.

Nine Key Note speakers attended the ICSCI in 2020, namely the Governor of Bali Province, the Chairperson of the LPPM Unud, Prof. Rai Temaja, Prof. Alexander Cuthbert, Prof. Norikasu Shimizu, Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Aziz, Prof. Hideaki Ohgaki, Prof. Ruth Steiner, Evawani Ellisa, Ph.D and Prof. Jun Tanimoto.
