FK Unud Strengthens Health Service Support at Lewoleba Regional General Hospital, Lembata, NTT

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University received a visit from the Lewoleba Regional General Hospital, in the context of an audience for the extension of the MoU and the addition of support for sending students to specialist study programs located in the Dean's Office, FK Building, Denpasar. The delegation from Lewoleba Regional General Hospital was led by the Director of Lewoleba Regional General Hospital, drg. Yoseph Freinademets Paun and received directly by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning of FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K) along with the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Information of FK Unud, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH, Ph.D. The visit of the team from Lewoleba Hospital aims to discuss preparations for the extension of cooperation and preparation for sending students to the Ophthalmology Specialist Study Program and the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Study Program.


On this occasion, Dr. Eka expressed his gratitude for the continuation of this collaboration and hoped that both institutions would benefit from this collaboration.

"This cooperation, from the hospital, can certainly improve the quality of health to the community in the region, and from FK Unud, especially for students to get more experience to achieve the competencies that must be obtained." He said;


The event was also attended by representatives of the coordinators of the related specialist study programs and the UPIKS FK Unud team.
