Extension of Collaboration Between the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and the Pasang Kayu Regional Hospital, West Sulawesi

 

Mr. Jainuddin, SKM., M.Kes., as Head of Administrative Subdivision of Pasang Kayu Hospital, West Sulawesi and his team visited the Udayana University Faculty of Medicine in the context of extending the collaboration between the Udayana University Faculty of Medicine and the Pasang Kayu Hospital, West Sulawesi (21/12/ 2023). The collaboration that has existed to date is the sending of independent Residents from the Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy and Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialist Study Programs. Mr. Jaenuddin said he was very grateful for sending independent residents who really helped speed up health services at the Pasangkayu Regional Hospital. In the future, it is hoped that there will be additional specialist study programs such as Heart & Blood Vessels and Lungs.

 

The arrival of the Pasangkayu Hospital Team was welcomed by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., in the Dean's Conference Room, Unud Faculty of Medicine Building, Denpasar. Starting the meeting, Prof. Ady Wirawan expressed his gratitude for the arrival and trust of the Pasangkayu Regional Hospital to continue the collaboration that has existed for quite a long time and hopes that collaborative activities can continue, especially sending Independent Residents from the Anesthesiology and Obstetrics & Gynecology Study Programs. Furthermore, an agreement was carried out to discuss the draft Cooperation Agreement and it was recommended to the Pasangkayu Regional Hospital for the process of extending the Memorandum of Understanding to the Chancellor of Udayana University.

 

This meeting was also attended by the Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Dr. Dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes., UPIKS FK Unud Coordinator, Dr. Dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, M.Kes., Representative of the Anesthesiology Specialist Study Program, dr. Pontisomaya Parami, Sp.An, Representative of the Ob-Gyn Study Program, dr. Ryan Santika Mulyana, Sp.OG(K), and the team from Pasang Kayu Regional Hospital, West Sulawesi.
