Participating in Maintaining the Health of Religious Leaders, FK Unud Provides Health Services at Mount Bromo Temple

 

The Research and Community Service Unit of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University collaborates with the Undergraduate Study Program in Medicine and the Professional Doctor (PSSKPD), the Undergraduate Study Program in Nursing and the Nursing Profession (PSSKPN), the Undergraduate Study Program in Dentistry and the Dentist Profession, the Master's Study Program in Biomedical Sciences, and The Clinical Microbiology Specialist Study Program, held Community Service (PKM) activities which focused on health services for religious leaders in the Mount Bromo area, East Java (27/11/2023).

 

The event opened with a report from the UPPM FK UNUD Coordinator, Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, Ph.D regarding the objectives of implementing PKM activities with the theme "Health Services to Religious Leaders". In his speech, Dr. Darwin expressed his hope that the services and information provided would be useful for religious leaders around the Mount Bromo area, East Java.

 

Followed by 10 participants including religious leaders and cleaning staff in the Mount Bromo Temple Area, the health services provided included counseling, physical examinations, blood sugar, uric acid and cholesterol checks. On this occasion, basic food packages as well as multivitamins and downstream research products from students and lecturers at the Master of Biomedical Sciences (Dr. Maulana Setiawan, M.Biomed. (AAM)) were also handed over in the form of sunscreen made from natural Kakadu extracts to religious leaders. .
