Socialization of the Utilization of Specialist Doctors and Strengthening Support from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

 

In connection with the fulfillment and distribution of specialist health services in Indonesia, the Government has issued Presidential Regulation Number 31 of 2019 concerning the Utilization of Specialist Doctors. For this reason, it is necessary to disseminate information and socialize regarding the implementation of the utilization of specialist doctors to students participating in non-PNS independent specialist/resident medical education from the Specialist Study Program in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Radiology and Pathology Clinic. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia together with representatives from the Committee for the Placement of Specialist Doctors (KPDS), the Association and the Collegium collaborated with the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, to hold a Socialization on the Utilization of Specialist Doctors and Strengthening Support from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which took place in the Prof. Room. This socialization was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., who in his speech said that the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University supports and appreciates the implementation of outreach on the utilization of specialist doctors to improve the education of specialist doctors at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

 

"The hope is that this outreach can encourage students, senior residents and residents who will graduate from specialist education to be able to use their knowledge in areas that have not been touched by the services of general practitioners or specialist doctors," said Prof. January.

 

After being officially opened, the event continued with a material presentation session by Dr. Nila Mulyani, M.Si from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and discussion session.

 

This event was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, dr. Maria Siska Mudina., S. Agustina Simanjuntak., Sifa Fauziah while from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, Deputy Dean for General Affairs and Finance, Coordinator of the Child Health Science Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Clinical Pathology Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Radiology Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Surgical Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Specialist Study Program, Coordinator of the Professional Education Implementation Coordination Unit (KP3), Chair of Komkordik FK Unud/RSUP Prof. Ngoerah, and five senior resident representatives from each study program.
