Innovation and Collaboration for Mental Health, 2nd ICOSPI Join Summit Series with BATIK 4

The Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University is holding a Symposium and Workshop on 6 - 9 September 2023. There are two activities taking place continuously, namely the 2nd International Conference on Cultural and Spiritual Psychiatry (ICOSPI) Join Summit with Bali Latest Psychiatry (BATIK) 4.

 

This year's activity carries the theme "Sharing, Collaborate, and Innovate Culture for Charting the Future of Psychiatry".

This activity began with the 2nd ICOSPI for 2 days, consisting of a symposium and masterclass, then followed by BATIK 4 which also consisted of a symposium and workshop.

 

The Opening Ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes and officially opened by the Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Cooperation & Information, Udayana University,

Prof. Dr. Dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M. Kes.

In his speech, the Dean expressed his appreciation for the activities of the 2nd International Conference on Cultural and Spiritual Psychiatry (ICOSPI) Join Summit with Bali Psychiatry Terkini (BATIK) 4, where this activity aims to encourage innovation and development in the field of mental health, as well as investment in the form of cooperation between institutions that can be implemented after the event takes place.

"It is hoped that this seminar will give new hope to specialist doctors, general practitioners and other mental health practitioners to collaborate together to increase the participants' knowledge." he said.

 

The 2nd International Conference on Cultural and Spiritual Psychiatry (ICOSPI) Join Summit with Bali Latest Psychiatry (BATIK) 4 times was attended by almost 300 participants from various regions in Indonesia. There are also several topics with speakers from within and outside the country, making discussion topics more diverse and enriching perspectives on the latest mental treatment trends and innovations.

 

This activity also became a forum for the transfer of great knowledge both between resource persons and participants, as well as between participants so that new relationships were established between psychiatrists, general practitioners, residents, and all participants.
