DOCTOR PROMOTION SESSION NI MADE SRI RUKMIYATI, S.E., M.SiMANAGEMENT DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAMMEUDAYANA UNIVERSITY'S ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS FACULTY

Students of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, on behalf of Ni Made Sri Rukmiyati, S.E., M.Si, held a doctoral promotion session and officially held a doctoral degree on Wednesday, September 5, 2023.

 

 

The Doctoral Promotion Session was chaired by the Chairman of the Session, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E., M.M., as the Coordinator of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

 

 

The theme of the dissertation raised by Promovenda Ni Made Sri Rukmiyati, S.E., M.Si, which was able to bring Promovenda to a doctoral degree, was the Role of Investor Recognition Mediating the Effect of Sustainability Reporting Quality on Company Value on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

 

 

This study proposes an integrated model that covers agency theory, signaling theory, and resource-based view (RBV) theory in order to provide comprehensive insight into the relationship between sustainability reporting quality, investor recognition, intellectual capital, and firm value in non-financial sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

 

 

The results of this study indicate that investor recognition has an important role in mediating the effect of sustainability reporting quality on firm value. This finding is new and interesting because previously there have not been many empirical studies on how investor recognition can mediate the effect of sustainability reporting quality on firm value, especially in non-financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

 

 

This Doctoral Promotion Session was held offline, which took place at the BH Building Floor 3.4 FEB Unud-Sudirman, where the promoter of Promovenda was Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E., M.M., and for the co-promoter I, namely Dr. I Gde Kajeng Baskara, S.E., Ak., M.M., and co-promoter II is Dr. Ica Rika Candraningrat, S.E., M.M. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic guests consisting of Dr. Ida Ayu Putri Widawati, SE, M.Si., (Head of Bali Tourism Polytechnic Department), Dr. Putu Diah Sastri Pitanatri, S.ST.Par., M.Par., (Assistant Professor of Bali Tourism Polytechnic), Dr. Fedy Romamti, S.E., M.M., and Dr. Agus Wahyudi Salasa Gama, S.E., M.M., who are alumni of the Management Doctoral Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University. Promovenda is a lecturer at Bali Tourism Polytechnic. Promovendus successfully passed the exam with a very satisfactory score.
