PKKMB FK Unud 2023, Create Health Workers with a Spirit of Leaders with Purity of Heart

 

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) carried out an Introduction to New Student Campus Life (PKKMB) activity which lasted for two days, 22 and 23 August 2023. The PKKMB FK Unud which was attended by 765 new and old students took the theme "Welcoming the Families of Udayana Health Students , Creating Prabhu Swara Dharma Nirmala”. PKKMB was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, which was marked by the planting of the Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Flag.

Chairman of the PKKMB FK Unud Committee, Ns. I Kadek Saputra, S.Kep., M.Erg, said that the PKKMB FK 2023 this time provided space for students as committees to play an active role in its implementation so as to provide a new color and atmosphere with new thoughts and innovations, full of familiarity and kinship among students. Even so, this PKKMB still refers to the guidelines, rules, values and rules of the game and is inseparable from the ethics of introducing campus life itself. As well as the motto of PKKMB this time is PRABU SWARA DHARMA NIRMALA (Health Workers who have a high leadership spirit, and dare to speak for the truth with a pure heart).

Dean of FK Unud, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, said, PKKMB is a series of campus life introduction activities for new students to provide an introduction to students to adapt to a variety of academic and student activities that can increase students' potential and creativity as well as self-innovation. PKKMB is also expected to be able to instill noble values (University Values), educational philosophy and awareness of self-maturity from students to students, thus increasing the pride of being part of the Udayana University Faculty of Medicine.

The PKKMB activity is an activity that must be followed by every new student in the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This is important so that every student has early readiness to adapt in the learning process. Besides that, it has been determined that every new graduate can take part in the graduation if he has been declared a pass in the PKKMB activity.

The first day of PKKMB was filled with material presentations by several speakers within the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University (Dean and Study Program Coordinators) regarding faculty profiles, profiles of each study program and infrastructure facilities at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. Apart from that, new students also received education regarding Acts of Bullying and Sexual Violence delivered by Dr. dr. Anak Ayu Sri Wahyuni, Sp.KJ.

Then the second day was filled with an expo introducing student activity units and student organizations within the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
