National Seminar 2023 Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

 

In order to create individual awareness and increase public understanding of the existence of self-quality, the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is holding a 2023 National Seminar in a hybrid manner.(09/08/2023)

This year's National Seminar carries the theme "Metanoia: Is It Okay to Not Fulfill Society's Standard of Beauty?". In this seminar there were two materials presented, namely "Take the First Step to Achieve Your Dream Body" presented by dr. I Wayan Gede Sutadarma, M.Gizi, Sp.GK, a lecturer in Clinical Nutrition and Disorders FK Unud and the material "Body Positivity Movement isn't That Positive" delivered by Ni Made Ari Wilani, S.Psi., M.Psi, a lecturer also at FK Unud.

In addition, the 2023 National Seminar also held a talk show discussing "Myths and Facts About Diet: How Social Media Trends Influence Our Health Behavior" which was presented by Yulia Baltschun, a Certified FITNESS & DIET Specialist and obtained NASM certification as a Nutrition Coach. The 2023 National Seminar was attended by 570 participants which consisted of students and the general public who attended offline and online.

This activity was officially opened by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, M.P.H., Ph.D which is marked by striking the gong. Prof. Ady in his remarks expressed his appreciation for the 2023 National Seminar activities, where this activity aims to share information with the public about health and the ideal body. He hopes that the 2023 National Seminar will be useful for participants and provide an understanding of the relationship between health and an ideal body.

The 2023 National Seminar begins with the opening of the 2023 National Seminar, presentation of seminar materials, ice breaking, talk show sessions, and ends with closing. This activity was also attended by all study program coordinators at UNUD Faculty of Medicine as well as representatives of each BEM, HM, and BSO at UNUD Faculty of Medicine.
