Field Assessment Certification ASEAN University Netwok Quality Assurance Study Program Undergraduate Medicine and Doctor Profession Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

 

The ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Institute conducted a field assessment in the context of Certification of Undergraduate Medical and Medical Profession Study Programs at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. AUN is a university network organization in ASEAN which has the main objective of strengthening and expanding cooperation in the field of higher education between ASEAN countries. While AUN QA is one of the certification activities carried out by AUN in guaranteeing the quality of university study programs which are members, one of which is the Undergraduate Medical and Doctor Profession Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

 

Located in the Accreditation Room, Faculty of Medicine Unud-Denpasar Building, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., welcomed the arrival of two teams from AUN-QA, namely Prof. Dr. Kiran Kaur, and Dr. Alma Maria O Salvador. The field assessment by AUN-QA was held for 2 days on 8 and 9 August 2023.

 

The assessment agenda on the first day is filled with;

1. Meeting of the AUN-QA team with the leadership of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

2. Presentation of documents by the Leaders of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

3. Interviews and assessments of lecturers who teach in the study program.

4. Interviews and assessments of educational staff regarding academic and non-academic services.

5. Interviews and assessments with students.

6. Visitation of the AUN-QA team to Classrooms, Skill Labs, CBT Centers, and learning support facilities

 

While on the second day continued with the agenda:

1. Interview with Alumni

2. Interview with Stakeholders from network hospitals.

3. Clarification meeting with the Certification Task Force team

 

This activity was also attended by the Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, and the entire AUN-QA Certification Task Force Team.
