PREPARATION TO BE INTERNATIONAL, MAGISTER PROGRAM OF ANIMAL ANIMAL SCIENCES, FACULTY OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, UDAYANA UNIVERSITY HELD WORKSHOP

The Master Program of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University held a workshop on the theme "Development of the Master of Animal Husbandry Curriculum towards Internationalism. The workshop will be held on Thursday, 27 July 2023 at the Hall of Lt. 3, Udayana University Postgraduate Building, Denpasar. The event was also attended by the Chancellor of Udayana University, Head of the Bali Provincial Agriculture and Food Security Office, Chair of the Udayana University Learning Development and Quality Assurance Institute (LP3M), Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at Udayana University, Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry at the University of Mataram, Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Agriculture at Warmadewa University, Regional Research and Innovation Agency (BRIDA) Bali Province, Head of the Center for Implementation of Agricultural Instrument Standards (BPSIP) Province of Bali, Head of the Production Sector of the Gianyar Regency Agriculture Service, Heads of the Agriculture and Food Security Offices of Bali City Regencies, Heads of Superior Livestock Breeding Centers and Forage Animal Feed (BPTU-HPT), Stakeholders from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk. and PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk., Deputy Deans and Study Program Coordinators of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University, as well as Lecturers and Alumni of the Masters Program in Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Udayana University.

This activity began with the singing of the Indonesia Raya song, prayer, remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Speech by the Chancellor of Udayana University, presentation of the results of the curriculum evaluation for the Master of Animal Husbandry Sciences Program, presentation of resource persons, group divisions, group meetings, plenary sessions, formulation by the Head of the Management Team, and closing. This event presents speakers who are competent in their fields, namely: Ir. Rizki Prafitri, S.Pt., M.A., Ph.D from the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya and Prof. Ir. I Made Supartha Utama, M.S., Ph.D., as Chair of the Central P2KPT.

This workshop is a continuation of the implementation of the curriculum evaluation activities for the Master of Animal Science Faculty of Animal Husbandry which was held last February. This activity aims to perfect the curriculum that has been prepared by adjusting it according to developments in science and technology and the needs of related stakeholders. The hope is that the resulting curriculum is quite innovative, and able to meet the prospects of both institutions, the livestock industry, and local wisdom-based employment.
