QR TEAM FEB UNUD wins 1st place and is the Favorite Champion of the Mahasaraswati Capital Market Education Video Competition.

Accounting undergraduate student class of 2022, Komang Arya Krisna Putra, and two of his colleagues from the Management study program class of 2022, Elaine Tairio and Juan Mario Radityatama, won first place and Favorite Champion in the 3rd Mahasaraswati Capital Market Educational Video Competition held by Mahasaraswati University Denpasar on April 19 to May 10, 2023. This competition is a national competition that is participated in by 14 renowned universities in Indonesia and is carried out in groups or teams. The competition is designed to encourage students to learn and understand the concepts and opportunities obtained in the field of capital markets using video media with the theme "Get Your Biggest Opportunity in Capital Market". In the competition, their team took the title "From Luntang-Lantung, Let's Find Profit", which means that it is better to look for opportunities and profits in the capital market than to be confused and directionless.

From the various processes that have been passed, of course, a lot of knowledge has been gained by Arya personally. According to him, after participating in this competition, he can find out more about the opportunities that exist in the capital market. The capital market itself has an important role for the country's economy and finances, so it is important for us as students to know more about the capital market. Moreover, one of the benefits of this capital market is that it increases employment opportunities for the community and can help encourage the pace of development in the country.

 

 

In the preparation process, of course, there were some obstacles. Krisna Putra revealed that they had difficulty determining the material and concept to be conveyed in the video, causing it to be submitted at the last second of closing. However, he and the team overcame the obstacles by doing research on materials that are in accordance with the theme prepared and looking for inspiration to determine the concept of the video to be made. Although there were many obstacles, he is very grateful to have succeeded in submitting the video and winning the competition. Krisna Putra said that he and his team really did not expect to get the first place and be the favorite champion in the competition, as it is known that the competitors come from various well-known universities in Indonesia.

Every competition has its own challenges, and in line with that, at the end of the interview via chat, Krisna Putra advised that "Never hesitate or be afraid to try to take part in a competition and hone our talents".
