Submission of the Sport and Physiotherapy International Program Graduation Certificate for the 2023 Summer Semester Period

The Undergraduate Physiotherapy and Physiotherapy Professional Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a graduation certificate for the International Sport and Physiotherapy Program for the 2023 Summer Semester Period at dr. A A Made Djelantik, FK Building, Denpasar. (24/7/2023)

At a glance about the international nature of this program, Sports and Physiotherapy is an international program in the form of a short course that lasts for 15 weeks. This program consists of academic activities, excursions, and non-academic activities such as community service. There are 5 courses offered in this program with a total of 30 ECTS including Sports of the Tropic (5 ECTS), Sport Science and Fitness (5 ECTS), Physical Health and Fitness (7 ECTS), Language, Culture and History (5 ECTS), and Water Sports (8 ECTS).

In addition to academic activities, excursions are also carried out by visiting several places that support learning topics.

The aim of this program is to establish close relationships related to student mobility, teaching, research and cultural learning programs, strengthen internationalization and student exchanges at the Faculty of Medicine and Udayana University, and encourage direct interaction in terms of academic and research activities between the Faculty of Medicine and Partners.

In this period, the International Sports and Physiotherapy Program graduated 17 people, with 3 people as the best graduate students achieved by:

1. Diana Edina Farkasinszky (1st place)

2. Cedric Muller (2nd place)

3. Anna Csiszar (3rd place)

The awarding of this certificate began with remarks from the person in charge of the International Sports and Physiotherapy Program, Ftr. Gede Parta Kinandana, S.Ft., M.Fis, then continued with remarks from the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Physiotherapy Study Program and Physiotherapy Profession Dr. dr. Agung Wiwiek Indrayani, S.Ked., M.Kes.

In his remarks, dr. Wiwiek congratulated him on successfully completing education in this program and hoped that students would be able to apply their knowledge well.

"Hopefully in the future this program will continue every semester and hopefully the Chancellor and Dean will support this program, because this program is very important to support the achievement of the Faculty's IKU." he added.

Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes who was present on this occasion in his speech congratulated the achievements of the students and expressed his hope that the knowledge and experience gained while studying at the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University could provide knowledge and experience that would enable students to achieve their dreams.

The presentation of the graduation certificate was also attended by the Head of the Physiotherapy Department, Ftr. Ari Wibawa, S.St.Ft., M.Fis., Coordinator of the Information and Cooperation Management Unit (UPIKS), Dr. dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari, S.Ked., M.Kes., Coordinator of the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D., Administrative Coordinator, Ni Ketut Dewi Megawati, SH., MH., as well as the lecturer staff of the Physiotherapy Undergraduate Study Program.
