DOCTORAL PROMOTION SESSION NI PUTU AYU SINTYA SARASWATI, SE., M.M. MANAGEMENT DOCTORAL STUDY PROGRAMME FACULTY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS UDAYANA UNIVERSITY

Students of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University on behalf of Ni Putu Ayu Sintya Saraswati, SE., M.M. held a Doctoral Promotion Session and officially held a Doctoral Degree on Thursday, 20 July 2023.

 

 

 

The Doctoral Promotion Session was chaired by the Chairman of the Session, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Anom Purbawangsa, S.E, M.M. who is also the Coordinator of the Management Doctoral Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University.

 

 

In the doctoral promotion session, the promovenda presented the results of dissertation research which took the topic "The Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction and Moderation of Family-Supportive Work Environment on the Effect of Work-Family Conflict on Turnover Intention". Promovenda explained that the research conducted aims to analyse the effect of work-family conflict on nurse turnover intention mediated by job satisfaction and moderated by family-supportive work environment. One of the main problems in the healthcare industry is nurse turnover intention.

 

 

 

The results showed that the implications of resource conservation theory and role theory explain that work-family conflict arises due to pressure on the resources available to individuals, resulting in work-to-family role conflict. The implication of social exchange theory is that the family-supportive work environment is able to weaken work-family conflict on nurse job satisfaction.

 

 

This Doctoral Promotion Session was held offline / online at BH Building 3rd Floor, Room 3.4 Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, where the Promoter of Promovenda was Prof. Dr. I Gede Riana, S.E., M.M. and for the Co-Promoter I was Dr. Dra. I Gusti Ayu Manuati Dewi, M.A. and Co-Promoter II was Dr. I Made Artha Wibawa, S.E., M.M.. This doctoral promotion was also attended by four academic guests as follows Dr. Putu Kepramareni, S.E., M.M., Dr. drg. Ida Ayu Dewi Kumala Ratih, MM, Dr. Gine Das Prena, S.E., M.Si., Ak, CA, CPA, CMA, CSRA, CAPM, CFMA, CERA, Dr. Ni Made Yeni Widayani, S.H., M.M.. Promovenda successfully passed the exam with a very satisfying predicate with a study period of 6 years 2 months.
