The 16th National Symposium INA-SNACC and the 8th Joint Symposium NACC Indonesia-Singapore 2023

 

The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) in collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensive Therapy Specialists (PERDATIN) and the Indonesian Society of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care (INA-SNACC) held a scientific meeting The 16th National Symposium INA-SNACC and 8th Joint Symposium of Neuroanesthesia and Critical Care (NACC) Indonesia – Singapore 2023 for three days at the FK Unud Building, Denpasar and Aryaduta Hotel, Kuta. (July 13-15, 2023)

 

With the theme "Mindfully Protecting The Brain", this scientific meeting was held aiming to advance scientific knowledge and practice of Neuroanesthesia, Anesthesiology in general, Emergency and Critical Care. In this meeting, an interesting scientific program has been prepared with a range of international and local speakers who are highly skilled in their fields which will provide insight into the latest issues in Neuroanesthesia, Anesthesiology in general, Emergency and Critical Care.

 

The symposium began with an opening ceremony in the Dr. A A. Made Djelantik venue, Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Building, Denpasar (13/7/2023) which was attended by the Chairman of PERDATIN Indonesia, Irjen. Pol. dr. Asep Hendradiana, Sp.An., KIC., Main Director of RSUP Prof. I.G.N.G Ngoerah, dr. I Wayan Sudana, M.Kes., Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP., IPU., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Planning, FK Unud, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K), and Chair of the event committee, dr. I.B. Krisna Jaya Sutawan, Sp.AN-TI., Subsp.N.An.(K).

In his remarks, Prof. Rai provides support to the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University to continue to develop and maintain its quality. It is hoped that this symposium will provide additional knowledge for all participants from all over Indonesia and abroad.

 

The 3-day event presented various topics related to the practice of Neuroanesthesia, General Anesthesiology, Emergency and Critical Care. Followed by more than 200 participants from all corners of Indonesia and abroad, as well as involving 22 competent speakers, the topics presented varied, ranging from What's New in Neuroanesthesia, Enhanced Recovery for Neurosurgery, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Cerebral Vasospasm after TBI, and various other interesting topics. In this event Continuing Professional Development (CPD) was also held regarding Traumatic Brain Injury.
