Two TPB FTP Unud Students Successfully Won the 1st Winner Student Project and Opportunity for Internship at Chiang Mai University, Thailand

Two students of the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University (TPB FTP Unud), namely Luh Made Putri Apriliani and Zulfa Hana Maulida under the guidance of Ni Nyoman Sulastri, S.TP., M. Agr., Ph.D and I Putu Budisanjaya, S.TP., MT won the 1st Winner Student Project at the Student Project Competition 2023 - REEC (Renewable Energy and Environment Conservation) Lab and had an Internship opportunity at Chiang Mai University, Thailand.

 

The competition that was participated in was organized by REEC-Lab (Renewable Energy and Environment Conservation), Chiang Mai University and in collaboration with Jember University. The theme of this competition is "Mitigation and Adaptation for Climate Change in Agriculture using IoT". The 1st and 2nd place winners will get an internship opportunity at Chiang Mai University, Thailand to continue their project. The student project proposed during the competition is HydroLogic: A Web-Based Irrigation Water Balance Tool For Climate Change Adaptation. The student project created by TPB students won 1st place and led him to have the opportunity to carry out a fully funded Internship 15 July – 30 August 2023 at Chiang Mai University, Thailand.

 

Luh Made Putri Apriliani who is often called Putri reported that she and her colleagues were very happy and proud of the results obtained, besides that she also said that she would continue to develop herself and deepen regarding the proposed project idea, besides that she was also happy because she had the opportunity to carry out internship at Chiang Mai University, Thailand and through the opportunities obtained can be used to develop themselves and set an example to other fellow students so that more students are expected to have the same opportunity, she said.
