Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program Presents Visiting Professor Lecture from Hong Kong

 

Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, invited Prof. Cecilia Li-Tsang Wai Ping, PhD, M.Phil, P.D.O.T., H.K.R.O.T., O.T(C), from the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to give a lecture and discussion on Burn Rehabilitation in Children on March 3 2023.

 

The purpose of holding this event is to be able to provide new experiences and insights for students and lecturers, as well as help improve the quality of education and services in the field of plastic surgery.

 

Also through this program, students and lecturers will be able to gain new knowledge and experience from leading experts and practitioners in the field of burn care from abroad. Thus, it is hoped that students and lecturers will be more prepared and competent in facing the challenges of treating burns in children. The Visiting Professor Program can also open opportunities for collaboration between universities in various countries, as well as provide opportunities for students to participate in student exchange programs or research abroad.

 

The event began with opening and remarks by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning who represented the Dean and Plt. Coordinator of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program; Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K). After it was opened, the event continued with presentation of material by speakers and a presentation on cases of contracture burns in children from students of the Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Specialist Study Program which were continued with a very interactive discussion session attended by all participants from among lecturers and students.
