2023 UP3M Activity Planning Coordination Meeting.

Monday, 6 February 2023, UP3M Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences chaired by Dr. I Nengah Wirajana, S.Si together with TPPMPS held a coordination meeting for the planning of UP3M FMIPA activities which aimed to finalize routine work plans and prepare study programs within the FMIPA UNUD environment in carrying out international accreditation. The accreditation of this study program is known as one of the efforts or instruments in maintaining, improving and guaranteeing the quality of education carried out in the world of education in general and in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in particular. This meeting was attended directly by the Dean of FMIPA UNUD (Dra. Ni Luh Watiniasih, M.Sc., Ph.D), Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning (Dr.Drs. G.K. Gandhiadi, M.T), Chair of UP3M, Secretary of UP3M (Dr. Ni Made Suartini, S.Sc., M.Sc) along with all the chairmen and members of the Study Program TPPMPS offline in the meeting room of the FMIPA dean of the Bukit Jimbaran campus.

In the Dean's remarks, Watiniasih expressed her deepest gratitude to UP3M for initiating this coordination meeting. Watiniasih hopes that this coordination meeting will later be able to support the implementation of the main FMIPA activities in terms of quality assurance and national and international accreditation. Watiniasih hopes that UP3M can accelerate international accreditation. What documents are needed to be confirmed to the leadership so that there are no missing files and the planned goals of international accreditation can be achieved with maximum results. Watiniasih also reminded that all accreditation documents must be in English, of course this will be a challenge for all of us so that in addition to being complete it also contains the expected grammatical rules. Mid-2023 is the target for international accreditation documents to be ready. Watiniasih hopes that the entire team can work optimally, be able to carry out what is assigned properly and that all study programs must be ready later for international accreditation. Ending the remarks, accompanied by praise and prayer to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa - God Almighty, Watiniasih banged the gavel three times as a sign that the 2023 UP3M Activity Planning Coordination Meeting was officially opened.

Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning (Dr.Drs. G.K. Gandhiadi, M.T) as deputy dean for education and planning also conveyed that international accreditation in terms of internationalization is a big job. Gandhiadi directed the team to be able to map out all the strengths, weaknesses, challenges and competition so that later strategic ways and steps could be found so that the goals of quality assurance and international accreditation could be achieved with maximum status. Opportunities for FMIPA accreditation scores may not be the same as the others. As a first step, we must complete an international standard curriculum with OBE and then proceed with the next strategic and technical steps. Gandhiadi also hopes that we can all work together to advance our beloved community to become an international standard educational community.

After remarks and directions from the leadership, the meeting was then handed over to the Chair of UP3M.
