Field Assessment Accreditation of Psychiatry Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University

 

The Independent Accreditation Institute for Health Higher Education (LAM-PTKes) conducted a field assessment in the context of accreditation of the Psychiatric Specialist Study Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This accreditation is carried out in order to maintain and improve the quality of education and services at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

 

Located in Dr. A A Made Djelantik's room, the Faculty of Medicine Unud-Denpasar Building, the field assessment by LAM-PTKes was held for 3 days from 8 to 10 January 2023 with 2 assessors namely:

1. Dr. dr. Elmeida Effendy, M.Ked, Sp.KJ(K) (Assessor 1)

2. dr. Agustina Konginan, Sp.KJ(K) (Assessor 2)

 

The event began with remarks from the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes and opened by the Chancellor of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng, IPU.

 

Dr. Januartha in his remarks said that the accreditation process is a quality assurance process that aims to produce graduates desired by the public who are competent, qualified and during 2022 16 study programs at the Faculty of Medicine have received superior and excellent accreditation.

 

"We ask the assessor team to provide as much input and direction as possible so that in the future the Psychiatric Specialist Study Program can make better development efforts. We hope that the Psychiatric Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University will receive superior accreditation as the most beautiful gift starting 2023 " he said.

 

Meanwhile the Chancellor of Unud, Prof. Antara said that at the age of 60 at Udayana University, 64% of its study programs have been accredited excellent and excellent, which in the future will be encouraged for International Accreditation. We from the rectorate are very supportive so that later more and more study programs at Udayana University are internationally accredited. We hope that in 2023 12 study programs will carry out international accreditation.

 

"The Faculty of Medicine has contributed 16 study programs that are accredited Superior and hopefully the Psychiatry Specialist Study Program will be the 17th contributor. We also hope that the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University can collaborate with international hospitals in 2024 located in the Sanur area" he said .

 

This activity was also attended by the Main Director of RSUP Prof. dr. I.G.N.G. Ngoerah, Director of Udayana University Hospital, Head of Udayana University LP3M, Head of USDI, Head of Udayana University Library, Director and Representative of the Network Hospital, Chair of the Faculty of Medicine Senate, Deputy Deans of Udayana University Faculty of Medicine, Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Unit Coordinators, and all Accreditation Task Force Team.

 

Today's assessment agenda is;

1. Meeting of the assessor team with the head of the study program management unit and practice vehicle.

2. Discussion of the assessor team with the head of the Study Program management unit.

3. Interviews and assessments of lecturers who teach in the study program.

4. Interviews and assessments of the adequacy of educational staff regarding academic and non-academic services.

5. Interviews and assessments with alumni and students representing all students from each batch regarding academic and non-academic services.

6. Visitation of the assessor team to the Main Teaching Hospital.
