Bali Annual Scientific Meeting for HIV & Opportunistic Infection 7 (BAMHOI-7) 2022

 

Division of Tropical and Infectious Diseases – Internal Medicine Specialist Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University / RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Denpasar, organized the Bali Annual Scientific Meeting symposium for HIV and Opportunistic Infection (BAMHOI-7) which took place on Saturday 10 December 2022.

 

The event which was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, on this occasion represented by the Deputy Dean for Public Affairs and Finance, FK UNUD, Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M. Kes.

 

The general aim of this event is to provide up-to-date information on the diagnosis and management of HIV and opportunistic diseases.

In addition, the other objectives of this activity are:

1. Opening the insights of clinicians, practitioners and health observers related to the global condition of HIV and opportunistic diseases.

2. Provide opportunities and increase knowledge for clinicians and other health practitioners related to the latest management of HIV and opportunistic cases.

 

The seminar participants totaled 70 people consisting of general practitioners and internal medicine specialists, most of whom were supporting doctors at VCT clinics in Bali.

 

We hope that the holding of this seminar will provide practical knowledge as well as the latest updates on the diagnostics and management of HIV and opportunistic diseases that can be applied to daily medical services.
