Webinars and Series III Workshops help doctoral students improve their scientific writing and publication skills.

Continuing the previous two webinar series with the big topic "How To Improve Research Paper and Publication" in order to improve the ability to write and publish scientific papers, especially for doctoral students, the Doctoral Study Program of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Unud continues to hold Series III with the specific title "Call The Authors: How to Fix Scientific Publishing and Create an Effective Correspondence” hybrid from Prof.'s room. dr. I. G. N. G. Ngoerah, FK Building, Denpasar on Friday, September 23, 2022.

This series III webinar and workshop is the last in a series of webinars, which were held on a limited basis with selected participants attended specifically by 36 people who attended live offline and there were 170 other participants who took part online from other groups who were highly interested, ranging from university students. until this lecturer presents 2 resource persons who are very competent in their fields, namely Prof. dr. I Made Ady Wirawan, S.Ked, M.PH, Ph.D from the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and Dr. dr. Citrawati Dyah Kencono Wungu, M.Si from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Airlangga with the moderator Dr. dr. Made Ratna Saraswati, Sp.PD-KEMD, FINASIM.

The event began with a report from the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A (K)., and continued by the Coordinator of the Doctoral Study Program, Prof. Dr. dr. I Made Jawi, M.Kes. The opening was carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University who was represented by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information who was also a speaker at this event. In his speech, Prof. Ady Wirawan said that currently good writing is not enough, but how then can the written work that has been made be published properly, effectively, by doing optimal correspondence.

The first session of the lecture was entitled “How to Effectively Respond to Reviewer Comments?” and the second session of the quiz entitled “How to Fix Scientific Publishing for Systematic Review and Other Manuscripts? Besides lectures and discussions, this event was also accompanied by a workshop guided by the facilitator Dr.dr. Dyah Kanya Wati, Sp.A(K).
At the end of the event, in the closing, it was mentioned with a spirit that hopefully this activity can help in the process of publishing scientific papers to the international level and can help students complete their education on time with their publications ready early.
